Sana's POV:

"Ouch!" I groaned when I felt someone threw a pillow on my head.

"Wake up little creature! You really want to be late do you?" Jeongyeon unnie's voice rang through my ears. Gosh, she don't have to be so harsh about it.

"Okay okay, I'll wake up." I blinked multiple times. I'm trying to assure her that I'm actually awake and soon will stand up without being wobbly and will finally get ready for the day— which obviously will never happen since I'm clearly lying to myself.

"You better be." She groaned as I can hear her stomping out from my room. After confirming that her presence is out of my sight, I shut my eyes and resumed back to sleeping.

"Minatozaki Sana!"

"Geez! Okay! Okay! I'm up! I'm up!" My heart was about burst when Jeongyeon unnie stormed in my peaceful room in a speed of light. I voluntarily raised both of my hands, a sign that I'm giving up.

This time it's real. Without any doubts, I'm surely going to follow her orders. Well, how can't I when she's killing me with her intense stares?

"Unnie, I promise I'll go to the bathroom now." I shakily grabbed my towel, shoving it in her face that I'm not fooling her.

"Sleep again or you'll see the light from above."

"We'll go ahead at the field. See you later, Dahyun-ah~" Chaeyoung muttered, clearly teasing the small girl to her limit. The latter gained a frown within a second, knowing that Chaeyoung still haven't put an end in displaying faces.

"The program won't start that soon anyways! I can still catch up. Besides, my partner already finished some of it. I'm pretty fast, aren't you informed?" She snickered as she annoyingly retorted at Chaeyoung with sassy glares.

"Yep, I don't care. Bye!" Chaeyoung happily skipped away, driving the girls to let out some giggles and laughs.

"How about you Sana? Where are you going?" While the girls drifted away, Nayeon unnie turned back one last time.

"I forgot something in my locker so I'll catch up with you later unnie. Might as well drop Dahyun by her classroom since I'll make my way through there." I gave her a smile before she went back and followed the girls.

"Kaja! Dahyun-ah!" My arms rested on her shoulder, trying to reduce all the negativity that Chaeyoung once built.

We soon reached her classroom and bid our goodbyes. I walked furthermore, on to the next floor and stopped on my tracks when I faced my locker.

"Finally, my perfume." I giggled and immediately shove it inside my bag. I was giddy and everything when I noticed a small letter inside my locker.

"Ehhh?" I was bewildered for a second. I don't have any clue as I read the words.

We're here.

I pondered for minutes, pouting as I closed my locker. As I walked down the stairs, I did nothing but to closely watch the words written in a piece of paper.

"What could be?"

"What could be what?" I instantly stood up straight like a soldier getting caught. Jun then raised a brow while smiling.

"Nothing. Let's go to the field shall we?"

Dahyun's POV:

After Sana unnie left me in this room, I sighed once again. I gazed at the classroom only to find out that it was still missing some designs. Yet, it's okay. Atleast my partner have done her part. Now it's only left to me.

"Sigh." I kneeled as I support myself by holding onto the thick box. It was filled with colorful designs and so on. Just by looking at it makes me feel weak. Nevertheless, I change my mindset into speeding things up. I would like to have fun downstairs and show Chaeyoung my dance moves in front her face! I'll show her that I'm already free!

"Good, that's it." I abruptly took all the decors and placed it along the side corners of the blackboard. I hanged it, managing to fill both sides of the board within minutes.

As I was about to grab a chair and stand up on it to reach the top corner of the board, I flinched a little when the door opened for some unknown reason. It slowly creaked, giving out a creepy sound that mortified me.

"H-hello?" I asked although I knew that nobody's going to answer. I immediately took a step back when it closed again. It send goosebumps all throughout my body. I began to shake as I hugged myself.

"Ah!" I screamed when someone entered the room. Yet, I immediately cut it off when I took a better look at the guy.

Vernon.

"Uhm... Did I scare you that much?" He scratched his head, bringing a confusing look. God, this is straight up embarrassing.

"No! Not at all!" I declined as soon as possible while shaking my head. He simply nodded and went to take a seat behind me.

"What are you doing here?" I was suffering inside because of the awkward silence. It's good that I came up with this question. I look like a fool, filling the board with decors while he watched me like I'm in a show. The atmosphere is pressuring me more since I'm standing on the stool and continued my work up there.

"I'm your partner, am I right? Seungcheol hyung said we need to stick for the sake of your safety." Casually, he said.

"Ah." I replied.

Minutes later, we didn't talk and focused on our business. I'm clueless at to what he's doing because he's chilling behind me. Nonetheless, I don't plan on stealing him a glance. Remember? It was all in the past.

"It was over." I mumbled but soon covered my mouth when I heard him adjusting on his seat. I quickly made another statement so he wouldn't associate it with our story.

"I mean, the festival downstairs! Probably the parade was finished. You know, it was over! Yeah right." I defended while fixing the decorations.

"Again, I meant the parade. Nothing else. It—" When I looked behind him, I zipped my mouth, only to realize that he was actually wearing headphones while closing his eyes.

So all this time, I defended myself for nothing.

My heart sank as I slowly got down from the stool. I'm got hurt a little knowing that he's not ready to listen, not even giving me a single glance. I sighed as I turned back from him again. But then, I felt electrocuted when he placed himself beside me.

"Let me help you."
