Today was Saturday.

I groaned as I realized it was time for me to get ready. I heard knocking at my front door and went to go answer it, already knowing who it was.

Hana and Anko were both grinning at me.

"We're here to help you get ready," Hana said.

They walked inside my house and I sighed as Anko rushed me upstairs to shower. She also rushed me to hurry up with my shower, so it wasn't too long. I dried off and wrapped my robe around myself to go to my room.

They were both looking through my clothes inside my closet.

"Don't you have anything date appropriate?" Anko asked while making a face as she looked through my outfits.

"Okay in my defense, I haven't had the time to go shopping for a new wardrobe," I sighed.

"I thought this would happen," Hana said and started digging through the bag she brought with her. "So I brought this!"

She pulled an outfit that wasn't even my style. It was a white sundress. I mean sure my ninja outfit was a dress, but that's different. This sundress was way too flowy and way too short. I probably would've worn that as a teenager, but not anymore.

"Don't you think that's over the top?" I sweat drop.

"No," Hana replied. "What's wrong with it? You wear a dress when you're on duty,"

"That's different," I replied. "My outfit on duty is more age-appropriate. This looks like something I would've worn when I was fifteen,"

"You're wearing it anyway," Anko interjected. "I already found the shoes to go with it,"

I shook my head when I realized I wouldn't win this battle. I got changed and then Hana helped me with my makeup and hair after that. I'm not meeting with the Feudal Lord's son, so I felt like this was over the top.

"And we're done," Hana said as they both stepped back to admire their work.

I looked at myself in the mirror. I won't deny that they did a good job, but I still think this is too much for a blind date.

"Now go meet him! You'll really like him!" They rushed me out of the house and told me that they wanted to hear about it as they left.

I started walking to the barbeque restaurant, wondering who they set me up with, and prayed to the gods that Asuma wouldn't be there since that's his favorite place to go to.

I walked inside the restaurant, scanning my surroundings to make sure they weren't there. Which they weren't, to my relief. So I sat down at the booth they told me this guy would meet me at and waited on him.

"Kasumi?"

I turned my head and I saw Asuma's students here. Oh no.

I hid my worry and smiled politely at them. "Oh hey, guys,"

"Are you here on a date?" Ino asked, with a sly smile. "You look like you're dressed up for one,"

I nodded. "Yup, my friends insisted I attend this blind date,"

Shikamaru and Choji didn't look interested in the date topic.

"Ino, can we talk about something less boring?" Choji asked her. She turned and gave him a look.

"Don't be so rude, Choji," She scolded, then turned her head to me. "Sorry about him,"

I shrug. "It's fine,"

I decided I'd ask the question. Might as well, so that way I can rush me and my date out of here when he gets here.

I cleared my throat. "Is my brother going to be here?"
