This story is an extremely rough draft (it's not really edited and chapters are subject to being rewritten, because of this though I am listening to readers about what they feel the story needs). The names of some characters are due to be changed because I realise they are identical to characters that already existed in the movies.
Coach Carter's timeline was in the 1990s, while Hurricane Season's timeline was in the early 2000s. In this fanfiction the Coach Carter timeline shares Hurricane Season's timeline. I've also swapped ages around for the sake of the plot.
There may be some triggers as this story does deal with: Gangs, death, drugs, abortion, teen pregnancy, PTSD. depression, shootings, and bullying/harassment. That being said, this is also why this story is Rated M ~ There are no sex scenes, so therefore this story is otherwise OK for teens to read.
Ha, I grew up watching these two movies and Had the biggest crushes on Rick Gonzalez and Khleo Thomas. So I figured after seeing the movies again a fanfic combining the movies and going into what life was like for the characters those actors played, past high school would be fun.
[I've no business posting another unfinished fanfiction. I really shouldn't but I have no self-control whats so ever. At least there is a handful of chapters to kick off with. I'm sorry.]
