Elodie walked with Kyra to cheer practice, she was nice and the two girls were having a good time talking to each other. Elodie was showing Kyra pictures of herself and David on her phone. "He's got a goofy smile." Kyra giggled. "I've always had a soft spot for that," Elodie said with a soft smile.
"You must miss him a lot," said Kyra. Elodie nodded, "I do. But needed to get out of there...D, actually talked me into it. He was right...but boy did I yell at him." she said. Kyra rested a hand on Elodie's shoulder. "I do that to Kenyon all the time, we be just a shoutin and I know damn well he right sometimes," Kyra said with a laugh.
The two girls stopped in front of the gym. "Now you sure you wanna do this? Amber can be a bit of a....well..." Kyra said cautiously. "I'm not worried, I've dealt with a caddy chick before I'll be fine." said Elodie her head held high. "Alright, girl. go get 'em then, let's go!" cheered Kyra holding the door open for her.
Inside a group of girls sat on the bleachers talking animatedly, they seemed excited about something. "Excuse me?" Elodie called striding across the gym. Kyra already held a scowl on her face as the girl in the center of everything narrowed her eyes. "We're practicing come back later." the girl called. "really? because it looks like you're sitting on your flat ass." Kyra shot.
Elodie gave Kyra a warning glance and cleared her throat. "I'm here to try out for the cheer team," Elodie said. The Brunette in the center looked her up and down with a slight sneer as she got to her feet. "We aren't holding auditions. We're all full up I'm afraid," she spoke in a synthetic sweet tone.
With a tilt of her head Elodie matched the girl's fakeness in the form of a smile, "Oh! because I checked the openings at the office before coming here...seems you actually have four spots open." said Elodie. "We can start this on a good note still, look I just want to audition. by all means, drag me if I'm terrible," she added her tone returning to normal.
The Brunette looked Elodie up and down again and simpered. "fine whatever, show us what you got." she sighed. Elodie quickly took out her pom-poms and walked farther into the gym. Kyra turned on the radio and put in the destiny's child disk. Elodie performed the same routine she had shown the boys throwing in a few acrobatics and jumps.
Kyra clapped loudly and cheered, "You killed it!" She shouted. A few of the cheerleaders clapped and chattered as well. Elodie composed herself and walked closer to the group with a smile on her face. She was confident in her routine it was one she and Mandy would do all the time. Elodie's eyes flickered between the cheerleaders, "I think you did gr-"
"It was alright, we will let you know if you made the cut." the Brunette said cutting off her cheer mate. "Excuse me? You that blind Amber? El, just blew even you out the water!" Kyra barked. "I said we will let you know," Amber said to Elodie, she then turned a sharp eye to Kyra. "you already got rejected," she added. Kyra went to lunge for her, Elodie grasping Kyra's arm to hold her back.
