The soft sounds of the girl's constant footsteps echoed throughout the halls of the jail.
Thea's eyes were wide as she looked around, her tail brushed slowly from side to side and her ears were pricked up. "We need to hurry." She said quietly, "it's getting closer."
Angel panted and leaned against a wall for a few seconds, "what the hell is after us?" She asked in between breaths, she continued to pant loudly.
Jennifer shrugged, "I honestly don't want to know, none of us are fighters... Jordan's really the only one who's good at the whole killing thing, he's been doing it since he's been a kid."
Angel sighed as a sad image of Jordan trying to survive as a child flashed through her mind. "Let's just find him and get out of this place." She murmured before continuing forward. Thea led them to a large silver door, she sighed and attempted to pull it open, using most of her strength. "Help me with this..." She said through gritted teeth, she tried harder to pull it open.
Jennifer sighed and flicked her wrist, the door burst off it's hinges and smacked into the wall opposite the cell.
Thea sat cross legged on the ground glaring at Jennifer, "where was the warning?" She growled.
Jennifer smiled faintly, but the smile faded when she saw the inside of the cell.
Jordan was in the air, chained up to the roof by his arms, his head hung low, his body was covered with cuts and bruises. Jordan hung shirtless, the bruises were splotched all over his body.
Angel's eyes were wide when she saw him, "what have they done to him..."
Thea growled angrily and ran into the cell, "Jennifer, get those chains off him, I'll catch him."
Jennifer nodded and snapped her fingers, the chains that were wrapped around Jordan's wrists fell loose and he fell towards the ground, not making any effort to stop the impact.
Thea caught him in her arms, he stirred weakly, whimpering something in-audible.
Jennifer looked back at the corridor behind them, "holy shit..." She gasped once she saw it.
Angel and Thea's gazes snapped up and they both gasped once they saw it, "is that what I think it is!?" Angel stuttered slowly.
Thea nodded, "we need to get out of here..."
From the end of the corridor, the beast let out another terrifying roar, it was a Minotaur.
