Jennifer's eyes widened, "is there any way to save her?!" She asked quickly.
Thea nodded and sighed, "only one way." She murmured.
Jennifer nodded, "well what is it?"
Thea sighed and pointed at Jordan, "we kill him."
Jennifer looked up at her, "what do you mean?!"
Thea sighed and say down cross legged, her tail continued to sway slowly. "They are temporarily linked now, if she dies, he lives, if he dies, she lives. It's simple."
Jennifer sighed, she looked up at Thea. "I know Jordan too well... I think we both know what's going to happen."
Thea nodded, "yeh... What do we do about it?" She sighed.
Angel whimpered in pain, "w-what do you mean?" She whispered weakly.
Thea looked down at Angel, "he's going to be the one that dies." She murmured.
Jennifer shook her head, tears were already rolling down her cheeks, "no... None of this is fair... How long does she have?"
Thea shrugged again, "my best bet is twelve hours... Probably less."
The wolf shifted slightly, it slowly began to shift into human form.
Within a few minutes Jordan lay shirtless in the wolf's place, he sat up slowly and groaned in pain.
Jordan's eyes widened when he saw Angel, "did I?!"
Thea nodded slowly.
Jordan's eyes filled with tears, his hand slowly moved to his back pocket, reaching for the pistol. His hands locked around the handle and he quickly pulled it out of his pocket, pulling the trigger.
"No!" Thea screamed.
The pistol was jammed, he shouted angrily and threw the pistol away.
Thea tackled him and sat on his chest, holding him down. "We need to figure this all out Jordan, nothing rash okay?"
Jordan struggled under her grip, "get off me!" He shouted.
Jennifer sighed and looked at Angel, "what do we do?" she asked Thea.
Angel was the one to speak this time, "Jennifer... That thing we talked about a whole ago..." She whimpered, "please... Will it help..."
Jennifer sighed and looked away, "Angel, I don't even know if it'll work..."
Angel coughed weakly and shivered, "I'm dead either way..." She whispered, her skin went pale and she continued to shiver, "please-..." Was the last thing Angel mumbled before going limp in Jennifer's arms.
Jordan's eyes widened, "no!" He cried.
Thea sighed and got off his chest.
Jordan ran to Angel's side and began to shake her, "Angel! Get up please!" He cried, tears running down his cheeks, "please... Please... Please..." He begged.
Angel lay lifeless in his arms, her heartbeat wasn't there.
Jordan cried out in anger, he his hair fell over his eyes and his tears gently dripped onto her skin, he laid her down on the ground and slowly stood up.
"Jordan?" Thea said slowly.
Jordan turned and began to run, he ran for hours and hours until he found himself in the middle of some woods. Jordan growled and punched a tree, smashing a hole into the bark.
Jordan fell to his knees and began to cry, he slowly curled up into a ball and continued to cry.
That was the day that everyone saw what Jordan really was, a monster.
