Liu Guanyi was eating in the cafeteria alongside Xin. Now, after having points, he could eat more to get more energy for his body development. For the sake of utility and cost efficiency, he only ordered the best from price and energy ratio regardless of the taste, so even though he ate a lot, most of them tasted horrible.

"So, how were your scout classes?" Liu Guanyi asked.

"Ah, they were truly exciting! We learned how to use observers and many close combats techniques." Xin excitedly replied.

"Really? How about we spar later to check your close combat techniques?" Liu Guanyi said offhandedly.

"Ok! I will show you how much improvement I made in these weeks!" He energetically accepted.

"But, why did your order so much? They cost your points and aren't that satisfying, are they?" Xin curiously asked as he pointed to the dishes on the table.

Liu Guanyi merely shook his head and spoke. "Taste doesn't matter as long as we eat nutritious foods. You should order more so your body will develop better. Just make sure to not overdo it and lose the position test."

"Ok, I will order more dishes like yours!" Xin took the advice easily.

The trust that Xin had in Liu Guanyi was developing really quickly, just as he had planned. They continued eating their meals and chatting.

When they finished, they bid farewell to each other as they separated. Xin went to the scouts' classroom while Liu Guanyi to the fishermen's classroom.

When he entered the classroom, the regulars inside stared at him as if he was some kind of a rare animal as even Adori glanced in his direction before turning back staring at the class. It seemed that what happened yesterday had a great influence on the regulars and even the princess.

For the regulars, it was very bad news. Since another monster had appeared it meant that there would be only three slots remaining for them to pass the fishermen's tests. For those who were desperate to climb the tower, which basically meant most of them, it was a disaster.

Had they understood this on the first day, they wouldn't have been excited to hear that a Zahard princess was climbing the tower in their batch, especially in their class!

Meanwhile, for Adori, it was an unprecedented experience. It was the first time someone could match her, even surpassed her in the way of the swords! Unless she used that sword style, she would lose to him in swordsmanship.

Since she was little, even before she became a Zahard princess, she had never lost to anyone. Be it talent, strength, and wits... she never found any rivals. It was even more so after she had been chosen as a Zahard princess.

Liu Guanyi was something curious. He was an enigma, something she didn't understand, yet.

They stopped staring as the Ranker entered the class.

"Today, we will learn about "reel inventory". Reel inventory is the main complementary armament that any fisherman uses. With reel inventory, fishermen can increase their reach and launch attacks from a distance." Borc explained.

"Not only that, since it could be controlled by Shinsu, as long as you have a good control you can manipulate many weapons, especially needles to increase the unpredictability and intensity of your attacks without having to engage head-on."

"Those are the main reasons why mastering a reel inventory is very important for a fisherman to succeed in the field. However, since the difficulty to master it is not low, I encourage you to keep practicing it. Let's go to another place to show you how to use it." Said Borc.

Borc led the regulars to a river near the classroom. In the river, there were many kinds of fish, from the small and cute ones to the big and nasty ones.

Suddenly, an odd and short-looking object with a reel appeared out of thin air by the Ranker. Then, he took out a needle and connected it with the reel.

"Now, look closely!" He shouted to attract the regulars' attention.

Borc controlled the reel inventory with Shinsu as it moved on its own and launched the connected needle into the river. The river waters turned chaotic and a few seconds after, the reel pulled back the needle.

There, the regulars saw a fish around two meters long stuck on it.

"This is one of the applications of reel inventory, it is cool, isn't it? He spoke with a hint of pride. "Let's see if any of you have the knacks to use it." Said Borc.

Borc gave each of the regulars a reel inventory and a needle with the exception of Adori. She casually declined it since she had both with much higher quality.

"Now, try to do what I did before and catch at least a small fish with it!" The Ranker ordered.

The regulars followed the instruction as they began to quickly connect their needles on the reels. After they were done, they tried to make the reel inventory afloat.

Surprisingly, it was pretty easy, it looked like the bootlicker was also a bragger.

However, when they launch the needles to catch the fish in the river, their shots missed the target by a mile. And even some of their needles hit the others and the reels got tangled up.

"Hey, look at where you are aiming for!" A regular screamed.

"Like you are any better, idiot!" Another regular responded angrily.

"Ha, you idiots can't even aim properly! Now, look at how a great fisherman fishes their prey!" Arnold Braun loudly said as he walked to the edge of the river, waiting for any of the fishes to surface.

Not waiting for long, the surface started to stir as waves appeared on the surface. Finding the opportunity, he quickly launched his needle toward the center of the waves, and...

It missed its target spectacularly.

"Hah, now you truly look like an idiot! Bragging without knowing your skill!" A regular sneered derisively.

Meanwhile on the other side,

"What a perfect aim! As expected of your highness!" Borc loudly clapped his hands as he gave a heartfelt praise. It seemed that he was exactly doing his thing.

Adori managed to catch a fish as it could be seen stuck on her needle. As Liu Guanyi observed, she did it easily with her precise aim and skillful control. Indeed, her talent in Shinsu control and even combat was incredible, not that he envied them.

'Let's see if I have the knacks.'

Liu Guanyi readied his reel inventory and flowed his shinsu to make it afloat. Since it was his first time, it was unstable. Then, he launched the connected needle into the air for testing.

It was hard for him to say the least, as he saw the result of the test. To be able to control the needle to hit where he willed, he needed a near-perfect control over the reel inventory and judgment over the target's movement and distance.

'It seems that I have to train it for a long time before I can incorporate this into my methods.' Liu Guanyi thought.
