Hello there you wonderful person. So you've decided to give the first act of 'Thε Spαrklε Tooƒus' a read. And yes, I know what you're thinking - what a weird title. I get that a lot about this story but you'll find out the significance of those words when you discover the characters in this book. ;)
Thε Spαrklε Tooƒus is a spin-off to my published novel 'A Midnight Reverie' - starring hilarious characters that were only given a minor role in A Midnight Reverie. You don't need to read A Midnight Reverie to read this story though (although I do warn you that there are some potential spoilers to A Midnight Reverie in this).
Some things I feel you, as a reader, should know before you start reading this:
Length: I warn you in advance, this story is going to be quite long, long enough to be considered a novel. It is because of that that I decided to split the story into three seperate 'acts' on the site, with each being relatively lengthy. If I'd written it as a whole, the read would have seemed like a daunting task. Nevertheless, you can take my word on the fact that it is going to be worth it. ;)
Updates: I'll be updating this story once a week. Each chapter will range from 2-4 pages. I try to avoid making a chapter longer than that as I'm focused on making this book a fun and easy read.
Genre/Category/Themes: I have placed this story under the 'Teen Fiction' section. The story will, however, have romance in it once we get past the initial 'meet the wonky characters!' phase. I'd also like to point out that though it is the romance and the 'who will May end up with' question that drives the story forward, there's a lot more to The Sparkle Toofus. Some other themes I explore include the meaning of friendship and comradery, as well as what it means to be part of a family (so Teen Fiction-y). Oh and there's loads of comedy. If you're looking for a story that will have you feeling both fuzzy on the inside and rib-tickling with laughter, then look no further.
The Sparkle Toofus is basically a comedy rom-com set in the high-school scene with characters that'll hand your their share of tear-jerking moments, of both humor and sadness. Oh, and how can I forget the cute boys?
