It has been three days since I gave up on those rules and the guilt was starting to subside.

Although I was starting to doubt if it was the right decision. A test happened in history of magic on the topic that was taught in that class during these three days and Lupin scored better than me.

I have no idea how he managed to score better than me by reading from my notes.

I was afraid he might confront me asking why my notes were in his bag but he didn't. I think he didn't know it was my handwriting. Good thing, I didn't even have any excuse.

However, Potter and Black were behaving weird. I have caught them looking at me while smirking more times than I could ignore. I knew something was up, I just didn't know what.

I looked up from my textbook when I noticed someone entered the common room.

"Hey Clars", I greeted.

"Hey!", she enthusiastically greeted back. Too enthusiastically to be honest.

She took a seat beside me while grinning widely. I knew that look. Some good gossip was up and if I asked what it was, it would probably not stop for the next 15 minutes atleast.

So, keeping the curiosity inside me, I returned to my Transfiguration homework. She waited for 10 seconds before speaking up.

"C'mon! Ask me what it is.", she whined.

"I am trying to study right now Clars", I replied not looking up from my parchment, knowing that I would give in to her puppy eyes.

"You can do it later. It's not like you need more than 10 minutes for writing this anyway"

I ignored.

"Please?"

I ignored.

"I'll tell you anyway. I don't care. You know—", I face palmed myself, "—Sirius likes Marlene Mckinnon."

"Whaaatt?!", I looked at her in disbelief.

"Shocking, right?", she grinned.

"Marlene, as in, our Marlene?", I asked again.

She rolled her eyes. "Yes Athy, our Marlene, the blonde chaser of ravenclaw quidditch team you sit with in herbology."

"How do you know?"

"Hogwarts gossip mill, duh!", she answered.

"And how can you be sure its true?"

"Athy, Sirius have been staring at her for months now. It's obvious he likes her"

That was true.

I have also noticed that if ravenclaw has a match with hufflepuff or slytherin, the only person he cheers for is Marlene, as if she alone makes the entire team.

It isn't very hard to notice, Black's shouts can be heard explicitly even with other students cheering.

I smiled when I remembered Marlene confessing her crush on Black to me last year. I just hope he won't break her heart, like what he did with the others.

----

"Marlene!", I yelled while running towards the courtyard to catch up with her.

"Oh hi Athea", she smiled.

I was panting slightly as I reached her.

"Merlin, you walk pretty fast", I complained and she chuckled.

"Want something?", she asked.

"Not really. I just wanted to talk to you."

"Sure."
