"I'm sorry, what?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Are you deaf?" she chuckled.
"I—but why do you wanna do it though?"
"It's my—"
"And also you can't decide that. It's the teachers who paired us up if you don't remember."
She scoffed.
"And you think I won't be able to somehow convince them, huh?" she kept her hand on her waist and glared at me.
"I don't think you will be able to. I mean just stay with your partner, what's the problem?"
"Ooh! So Melissa wants to be with Jason," she teased me.
"That's-that's not what I mean!!"
"Sure!"
"J-Just be with your partner, alright?" I snapped and walked away.
"But whatever it is, he's mine," she shouted.
I went back to my tent and curled up in my sleeping area. I was honestly sad.
I saw Jason coming inside.
"Not now," I said.
He didn't care and sat next to me. He tried to keep his arm around my shoulder but I removed it.
"I said don't!" I raised my voice.
Raising his hands in defense, he spoke softly. "Ok, ok I'm sorry."
I sighed and turned slightly away from him.
"Look I'm sorry," he paused. "I saw what happened between you and Mia"
I didn't respond back.
"I'll go talk to her" he got up but I held his wrist.
"W-what?" he looked at me.
"Don't. There's no need" I mumbled.
"It's ok. Let me jus—"
"I said there's no need. You like her anyway so I'm pretty sure you'll be more than happy to be paired with her"
He didn't respond back.
I left his wrist and he went out of the tent.
I didn't go outside so I don't know what happened after that.
Soon, I went out and found everything to be normal obviously.
Mia kept giving me disgusted looks which shows that Jason did not talk to her at all. Well, because he had said that he would.
But anyway.
I felt uncomfortable so I went to Katie.
"Oh hi! Where were you?"
"Just in my tent hehe." I smiled.
"Oh ok! So what do you wanna d—"
Suddenly, she got cut off by a sudden pull. I saw Aiden. He was pulling her.
"Aiden!!! What are you doing?"
"Oh c'mon! Just come inside the tent! Let's spend some time!!" he kept pulling her away.
"Aish, stop!" she tried to snatch her hand away.
"Please!!!" he whined.
She looked at me with sad eyes.
I smiled slightly and told her to go.
Soon, she went. Well, now I'm alone. Great!
I spent my day alone, on my own time, somehow managing with the time. Roaming around, spending time inside my tent was all I could do.
Before I could realize it, numerous stars flooded the sky and it became dark.
I was already inside my tent so I started preparing to sleep.
Ting
I got a notification and grabbed my phone to check it.

I felt really lonely.
I almost laid down when I saw Jason coming. I mean I do agree that I hate him but seeing him made me feel better for some reason. Which clearly shows that I haven't moved on.
"Hey! How are you?"
"I'm fine, I guess!" I mumbled.
I laid down comfortably until an unexpected question popped up from him.
"Do you wanna spend some time together?"
Um...
