Dream is the brother of a god, DreamXD. Dream once was a god like his brother, though he held too much power over humans, and his brother took most powers. He was left with siren powers, though the powers were weakened. His brother's name, originally, was only 'XD' but as the god had to take his brother's powers, he would not let him be forgotten as a god. Dream had control issues, as a huge perfectionist, needing everything, and he means everything, to be perfect. When one boy by the name of "TommyInnit" goes and ruins the perfectness it all had, the control Dream had gained- He had to break the boy.. But soon enough, he was the broken one, sitting in a cell. The one time he saw his godly brother in eons, was only for Techno to request a bell.. His brother not speaking even a word to him, only offering a single, wasted wish. When the man was broken out from prison by Techno, he was tired of caring about people, and lost one of his puppets, Ranboo. Losing one puppet, to gain the rest back.
