'ATTORNEY'

I JOINED the dance floor as soon as they did, I enjoyed the beat of the music and we could also hear the sound of a drum and a bass guitar from the mini stage they've created inside this bar.

"You look sexy" a guy from nowhere complimented me and dance with me

I awkwardly smile while still dancing.

"Thank you!" I shouted back

"Wanna sleep with me?" I was shock for what he have ask but I just act like I didn't hear him

"What?I can't hear you!" I shouted and gesture him that the music is too loud

"I said, do you wanna—" someone punch him in the face

I was shock when he fell down but surprisingly, no one notice him.The one who punch him in the face gesture the guards from a far and they just nods then carry the body, I look at the guy while still dancing.

"Attorney Hace?" I saw him smile at me and nods

"Wanna talk?Let's get out of here first" sigaw niya pabalik

I nodded as an answer then he helped me get out of the crowd, we walk towards the bar island and ask the bartender for a drink.We wait for our drink before I start the conversation.

"What are you doing here Attorney?Are you with someone?" tanong ko sakanya

"Nope and I am here because Art told me to watch over you, he knows that guys like that from earlier will surely approach you" aniya at tumungga sa shot glass niya

"Art?I thought both of you are enemies" sabi ko saka tinungga ang nasa shot glass ko

I didn't ask for another one since I am liquor intolerant, I don't want to go home with my drunk ass dahil bukas ng hapon ang uwi ni Art galing Australia.Besides, I could only have some drink if ever nand'yan si Art.

Although kaya ko naman umuwi mag-isa, iba pa rin kapag nand'yan siya.I am not good at fighting guys at the bar if I am wearing such clothes, it will be fine if I am in jeans or something comfortable to wear while kicking some balls.

"He hired me to defend the other side talaga and if you think you won by default then you misunderstood it, Art wants to be behind the barriers because he believes that what he did is still a crime" he drank his second shot before continue talking "But then, you unexpectedly came to save his ass from the trial court and it's actually fine to me to lose.. it's not like I died, right?"

I chuckle as soon as I heard his question, "Well, as a woman who wants to keep her pride, if I were you then i'll consider it as a death losing in the court"

He laugh as if he took the joke and I am glad, some sensitive people would left me here dumb founded.

"Anyways, I know everything and trust me, Art would do anything to fix the marriage thing" singit niya naman sa usapan

"I trust him on that one, if he didn't successfully fix it then i'll be forever single" napanganga naman siya sa sinabi ko
