The Dance

Jaune's pov

i was laying in bed but i woke up too jack talking about something as i got up and said "why your talking too yourself" he turned too me being a bit suprised im awake as he said "im not talking too myself im talking too zwei" i looked confused and look too the left off me i see a dog and say "whats a dog doing here" jack responds with "ruby's dad sended their dog zwei towards them but cause blake is a cat and all she doesnt like zwei so ruby brought him here so he got a place too stay so i um been asking him how to ask ruby too the dance i know you me sun neptune and ren wouldnt ask anyone but i wanna ask her incase nobody else did like im pretty sure its today and zwei isnt helping!"

 i just laugh at this as i got up "well jack im not a ladies man myself but just go for it" he shakes his head before facepalming as i give him a serious look and he sighs and says fine  as i get dressed and we walk down as i walk up too ruby kinda dragging jack along with me he was going very slow as i said "hey ruby jack wants to ask you a question"  she responds with "allright ask away jack" he was just nervous as i give him a slight nudge and he shouts "RUBY ROSE DO YOU WANNA GO TOO THE DANCE WITH ME!" everyone who was in the room just stared at him which was weiss blake and yang meanwhile sun and neptune just had smirks on their faces as ruby gets pulled away by her team it seems like they had a conversation as neptune and  sun came walking up the 3 of us shielding jack who was tomato red

i was shocked out off all people jack asked me i was pulled by my team as we went into a discussion yang saying "so ruby your gonna accept? if he hurts you let me know i will break his legs" as i try to speak weiss said "you deserve somebody better then that muscle brain" i once again try to talk as blake says "i agree with weiss on this jack is not the most populair kid in the school cause hes friends with jaune" i sigh and say "so what? he wont hurt me hes my best friend along with jaune and hes probaly the best outcome i can get its not like were going as more then friends"

 i turn back too jack and say "sure i will go with you too the dance" as sun says "he has heard that but" neptune then says "hes too embarrased so if you dont mind" jaune then says "we will be escorting him back too the dorm bye!" the 4 walk off shielding jack as i later tonight arrive at the dance i was wearing a dress and heels which was personally not fun i was almost falling most off the time as later sun jaune neptune and ren arrive later jack arrived in a texudo it was black but the most noticeable thing off all he had zwei in his texudo like it was a kind of corset 

i can see jack sign for zwei too be silent as he walks too me and he says "can you move your head down for a second" i do as he ask as i feel something in my hair  i use my scroll too see what it was it was a rose as jack holds out his hand and mumbles "you wanna dance..." i respond with "sure but im not much of a dancer" as jack says "well professor ozpin told me dancing is like fighting" i look confused but soon realise he was right as i take his hands and we start dancing our dance was a little strange but i would call it more uniqeu how i would describe

 it its like were actualy figting as jack lifted me up and pulled me so i could kick the air as i land and and we start dancing normal for a bit as jack presses me against him making me slightly blush from embarrasment which is quickly over as zwei licks my face i giggle a bit as we keep kinda combining battle stuff with dancing  like jack making me spin around in the air  or making me go trough his legs we keep dancing for a few more minutes before going too drink something  as we meet up with jaune and we talk a bit as jack says

"hey jaune why not ask velvet too dance" he spits out his drink as jack just giggles and jaune then says "fine but  let the 4 of us dance together" as jack responds with "allright" before i can say anything i get dragged off as jaune velvet jack and me start dancing away from everyone else this takes a few minutes as i go outside and spot this girl running around on rooft tops i decided to chase her
