ruby's pov

i was laying in my pjamas writing a letter to all my friends at signal as yang comes laying next to me and asked what i was doing which i awnsered "i still feel a bit strange my first day didnt go as i wanted" as yang just responds with "so what you exploded atleast you met jaune and jack they seem like nice boys talking about boys  you see everyone else" yang says making a purr sound as i just sigh and say "talking about jack we gotta ask him a question on his last name" i turned to yang who just nodded as we got up and walked over finding jack in a corner setting up his sleeping bag 

as i say "ahem" as jack turns around and greets us as i start to bombard him with questions "why didnt you say you were a branwen when did uncle qrow have a kid and if he did then why werent you at signal and and why didnt he tell me" as yang then speaks saying "your either our uncles child making you our nephew or your my mothers child making you and me half siblings" as jack just says "hold up hold up let me explain so first of all im not related to qrow or raven  and ruby remember when i said somebody convinced me to enter beacon" i just nod my head as

 jack continues talking "well bassicly qrow convinced me and signed me in i didnt know he putted his last name as mine too  i just trained a bit with him before heading to here most stuff i learned about swords i learned from him he probaly didnt mention my name to you ruby cause i prefer my privacy and all  anyway now that that is cleared up any other questions?" jack says looking at me and yang as i say "well can i see your sword and second off all why didnt you tell me sooner?" he just smirks and responds with

 "i didnt know you were qrows neice we mostly talked about training aside that he was quite the drunk aholic so yeah we didnt talk much it was mostly training then he left for signal and whenever he had time he came to check up on me and train me aside that you will see my sword eventualy ruby not now " jack says as i make a pouty face being disepointed as i hear some footsteps coming our way turning around as i see jaune  as he lays his sleeping stuff next to jack as i greet jaune and so does yang as i then say "well i geuss we will  let you 2 sleep lets go sis" yang nods as we walk off aside that yang dragged me to meet this girl blake we talked about books a bit before heading to sleep

                                                                                      Next Day

i was getting cresent rose out of my locker as yang got her gauntlets as i was excited to use my weapon as we see jaune walk by asking "you 2 know where locket 609 is and have you 2 seen jack?" i shake my head and then look at yang who also shakes her head jaune saying "i know ozpin wanted to talk to him but i hope he arrives in time for the entrance exam i dont remember what it is called anyway i will see you 2 later" jaune walks off as we all later meet up on the edge of a cliff i can see a forest ahead as professor ozpin starts saying "so it will go as followed we will drop you into the forest the person you meet there will be your partner for the rest of the year any questions?"

 as me and jaune tried asking a question but before we know it we all got launched of the launch pad into the forest i would use cresent rose to catch myself on some branches still swinning  cause of my momentum but i slow down allot   thanks to the branches enough for me to use a shot to land softly on the ground as i hear somebody coming from the bush as i hold a aim ready it was weiss who just turned around  after seeing me as i say "weiss wait!" as she comes walking back and says "lets just go" i nod starting to follow weiss as we make our way trough the forest

 as im just trying to convince how cool i am  as we suddenly are serounded by grimm as i say to weiss "let me handle this" as i charge the grimm  swinning my scythe at  which it dodged but i fire a bullet spinning my body back slamming the beowolf into another one meanwhile weiss was just standing there it looked like she was waiting for the grimm to attack first which i just doubted as i used my semblance to speed infront  of the beowolf that charged weiss cutting its head off as weiss comes  dashing at me but she swings her weapon away crashing into me

 as we fall a beowolf jumping at us as i shoot it with a bullet killing it before we got up weiss dragging me away with a annoyed expression on her face as i say "why did you drag me off they should have been easy" as weiss looks at me and says "if you didnt get in my way i wouldnt have set the forest on fire" as i respond with "well sorry i wanted to help you it just seemed like you were waiting on it but why let it make the first move when you can kill it" weiss just holds her head as she sighs before walking off as i follow her thinking "i should have paired up with yang or jaune even jack would have been fun where is he anyway did he get send back!?
