Volume 4 Jack's Story

Ruby's Pov

i woke up the next day and got up and went too check on yang and asked her what happened she told me blake ran away and weiss was taken back too atlas yang seemed crumpy so i left as i then went quickly too the basement as i saw jack laying in bed there next too him was neo holding his arm as i hear a familair voice "well red it seems your in one piece" i turned too the left and saw roman as i said "what are you 2 doing here does my dad know you 2 are here?" roman responds with "your uncle qrow knows im only here cause neo insisted on going besides i own this young man my life that grimm would have eaten me if it wasnt for him so tell him i said thank you i think ima go better my life a bit now i will still be stealing cause that is how i am anyway look after neo for me red"

 i nod as roman walks past me and leaves i walk up too jacks right arm and hold his hand as i ask "so how long you been here" neo writes on a sign and holds it up it saying "since yesterday after i heard your uncle awnser jack's scroll" i remove the blanket off jack too see his injuries most of them where repairing itself with his aura he had no scars as i suddenly get tackle as i fall down and look who it was it was jacks grimm dog dusk as i hear zwei bark as dusk  and zwei got onto jack and cuddled seems like zwei was getting along with jacks dog despite it being a grimm and

 for a grimm it got along with humans and other beings as i look at jack holding his hand tightly as i slowly start crying "please dont be dead jack your one of my best friends i dont even know where jaune is so please dont be dead" as i hear the basement door open and i see jaune as i quickly run over too jaune and hug him as he says "im allright ruby besides you will see me more im staying with jack and neo in the basement" as i look at jaune and say "okay but where are sun neptune and ren?" jaune responds with "sun is holding a eye on blake incase she would fall back too the white fang hes just there too make sure it doesnt happen he still hates her for how she treats me neptune is just in atlas keeping a eye on weiss as much as possible and ren is with nora" i nod as i went upstairs too eat

                                                             few months later

it was winter jack hasnt woken up all fall even when it was winter for a few days he didnt wake up i refused too leave his side i was scared he wasnt gonna wake up at all jaune went mining with neo he wanted too upgrade his sword too the blueprint jack made as i wake up too a movement jack was moving his hand as i say  "j-jack? are you awake?" jack got up and holded his head as he says "where am i?" as i cry and hug jack tightly as i say "im sorry jack i should have helped you fight cinder but i was scared you werent acting as yourself your mask was reapearing on your face your voice sounded drifent and you were talking about winning and killing and when you stared at me i felt like i was facing a grimm i just froze up and after you killed pyrrha i thought i had lost you"

as i feel jack pat my head as he says "i have no idea what your talking about but the fact your okay means jaune and the others are okay right how long have i been sleeping anyway?" i whipe away my tears as i say "a few months its winter jaune sun neptune and ren are okay neo has come too spend time with you too roman said thank you for saving him  he will try too better his life wait i gotta get everyone" i rush upstairs and say "uncle qrow jaune neo jack is awake!" the 6 of us including zwei and dusk rushed down and  everyone hugged jack tightly zwei and dusk licked his face as he was smiling i say "i dont even know why you slept so long  you were badly injured yeah but your wounds healed a long time ago" as uncle qrow would say "i might know why" me jaune and neo all looked confused as my uncle says "jack is it possible your part grimm" jack sighs and says "yes thats true i might as well share my backstory so" 

"it all started long ago when i was a baby i dont know my parents nor do i remember them i was raised by grimm we where always on the move cause of huntsmen my beowolf dad always hided me from their alpha cause the others wanted too kill me i remember seeing other grimms like ursa or death stalkers sometimes we came across them or i sneaked off my dad he trained me till my bones where broken i even understanded their language as he told me son you need too get strong i cant always protect you huntsmen will come for us it hurted allot i never knew my semblance he kept training me and i eventualy got stronger and stronger enough too fight against other grimm but one day the huntsment would us my dad hided me and then went too attack after a few hours i didnt hear anything so i came out of hiding and saw my dad injured i rushed over too him and said father!  in my grimm language but that was a bad idea the huntsment came back and my dad said run my son i will hold them off i said i could help the huntsment just laughed as they all went too shoot at me my dad shielding me  and getting teamed on as he fell down his last words where i love you jack aside that he said whoever left me in the forest had written my name on paper and putted it on the basket i was in after that everything went black i woke up i was holding my sword and had something on my face i took it off and it was the mask aside that i traveled alone as a 10 year old i slowly picked up the human language everytime i saw huntsman i got annoyed and attacked them i was seen as a criminal and monster eventualy i learned the condition off the world i eventualy met up with qrow who learned me what i know today but nobody could learn me anything about my grimm powers i just went too fight grimm and crime as the masked vigelanty i didnt care about a license i wanted too help people eventualy qrow convinced me too go too beacon and here am i now"

i look around i was shocked i wasnt the only one as uncle qrow then says "that explains why ruby's silver eyes hurted you it can destroy a grimm but cause your half human it just badly damages you" i felt bad and started crying as i said "so if it wasnt for me you would have woken up sooner" as jack pulls me into a hug and says "you said i had lost myself and acted drifent you brought me back if you didnt i would have killed and destroyed everything on my way what were the bad things i did" i whipe away my tears and say "well first off all you made your sword change too black and it became smaller after that you fought cinder and pyrrha you sended a aura slash at the 2 but it was red/black  and called it gestuga tenshou your voiced sounded hollow you had yellow eyes you really scared me you idiot please dont ever lose yourself like that again or try too regain yourself next time i promise i will bring you back if you do lose control"

 as uncle qrow says "anyway can i talk with jack alone you 3 should prepare something for him or well get tai to do it" we nod and get up as i decide too bake jack some cookies later he got up and sat down i gave him a bag off cookies and said "eat these they will give your strenght back it are my favourite chocolate chip" he just smirks and starts eating as i sit down and ask "well what did uncle qrow say?" i pass jack a glass off milk too wash down the cookies as he says "well he has a trail that leads too haven but its quite far from here so i was thinking if you neo and jaune wanna come along with me we can go today"

 i nod and i hear the doorbell as i say "i will take it!" i run up too the door and open it as i see ren and say "ren what are you doing here?"  ren says "i came too check up jack jaune messaged me"i nod and lead  ren too jack they give each other a hug as ren calls sun and neptune the 3 of them have a talk once the talk is finished i said "hey ren where going too haven you wanna come with us" as ren raises a eye brow and says "haven thats pretty far from here" as jack says  "qrow has found a lead that leads too haven so were going there the more the merrier" as ren nods and

 says hes in as neo and jaune arrive back as jack explains the plan the 2  agree as i say "this requires new outfits!" as jack says "yeah im not changinge my outfit" as i say "allright but we need some money too buy stuff" as jack says "i mostly wanna be able to buy food i been sleeping for months so i think some apples wouldnt hurt"  we nod and got jack some apples as i say too him "just strenghten up  were leaving tomorrow" jack nods and just continues eating as i go upstairs and prepare my stuff for our adventure
