The Split Up

Jack's Pov

i was asleep in my tent with ren and jaune as i suddenly hear a voice and shoot awake as i say "you 2 heard that?" jaune and ren got up and replied with "heard what?" i say "i heard this voice it sounded so real" as ren says "maybe it was just a realistic nightmare" i shake my head and say "maybe your right i just need some fresh air" i got out of the tent as i breath in the fresh air feeling much better day was rising as i decide too stay up and wait for everyone else they eventualy wake up and we continue traveling all 5 off us just discussing cause we were lost as we trip ripping the map into pieces as

 i say "dam it!" as jaune suddenly got up and said "i know where we are"  jaune runs forward as we all run after him we arrive in a destroyed city as ruby says "lets all look around" we nod and dash off looking around after a few minutes we gather up and i say "i found nothing what about you all?" everyone says no ren was kinda off the earth i didnt question it as we continued traveling as i say "i want too push trough the night if nobody minds if anyone needs a sleep just climb on my back or i can carry you all in my arms"

 they nod as we walk trough the forest i noticed there werent allot of grimms so i was suspicious about something but i eventualy ended up carrying neo ruby and ren jaune meanwhile walked side too side with me as i say "so jaune you been keeping up with training while i was asleep for so long?" he nods and says "i expected you too get weaker from that nap but your still as strong i geuss you won the festival for a reason" i smirk and say "nobody beats jack branwen aside a branwen probaly i know im not part off qrows family but the last name has grown onto me honestly so yeah"

 me and jaune arrive in the next town as i put ruby neo and ren down as i walk over too the bar and sit down as i say "so your worried still huh" as i see him grin  and he says "your instincts getting sharper jack " as i say "it isnt just instincts qrow i know how family works besides the lack off grimm was also a hint plus" as qrow says "there is somebody here for me so you got anything else too talk about?"  i  shake my head and say "qrow take a break from protecting them i got this" he sighs and i just walk back too the others and catch some rest

we woke up had breakfast and cause we had no map on us we just used the map the town had and we found another town as we walked but we see a split pathway as i say "how about we split into groups of 2? me and ruby take the right path jaune ren and neo take the left one" we all nod and split up as ruby would say "so why did you want me on your team instead of neo jaune or ren?" i respond with "cause i can work together better with you besides is it a problem?" ruby shakes her head and smiles as she then says "so  jack i got a question" i raise a eyebrow as

 i decide too pull out dusk and let him go for a small walk himself as i say "ask away" ruby says "i got this friend who has this special power but it hurts her friend which she doesnt like how  should she use this power too avoid hurting her friend" i think for a second and say "well 1 way for her too use it is take the enemy away and then use it or just have the friend back up so their out of the range from it" ruby nods as i hear a a roar as i pull out my sword and a group off ursa rush us as i run forward and slash trough one as the other 2 jump at me as rose petals fall on my head and ruby had cutted the 2 ursas in half as

 i say "i know your last name is rose but where the hell do these rose petals come from" as ruby turns too me and says "how should i know besides you sweared again so swear jar" i sigh and just throw my sword into a ursa and rush another one as i pull the bandage and swing my sword unheading the ursa i was charginge as ruby just shoots at the remaining ones as we finish killing them as i hear ruby scream "OH MY GOD!" i turn around ready too unleash  a aura slash as i see nothing i walk next too ruby and say "why did you say oh my god?" she points forward as i look and saw dusk bitting on a ursa remain as ruby says "thats so cute!" she runs over and picks up dusk and starts saying "whos a good boy you are yes you" i just sigh and  drag ruby  with me
