NARRATOR'S POV.

Blood dripped off his hands and hit the white pristine floor leaving a trail of death behind, his foot steps echoed through the huge empty hall. He drew closer in slow, taunting pace. And as he got closer she willed herself to run but she couldn't. She sat on the floor, her trembling body shaking against the wall, her body seemed to have lost all energy and just stayed in place.

She could hear her heart beating hard against her ribcage as her killer drew closer. He was here to kill her. She knew, there was no other explanation. He stood in front of her but she refused to raise her head up, buy even then she knew she couldn't, her head was both heavy and light at the same time and her vision was hazy and swirling, her vision was of his long legs hidden behind a well iron black suit pants. He squatted in front of her, his face was foggy, no matter how she strained her eyes to see who it was but she could not recognize his face, all she recognized was his eyes.

Cold, empty, gray eyes.

And this time no matter how much she wanted to erase them from her head she couldn't. She felt his icy fingers wrap around her neck slowly.

She felt like she would choke but she wasn't, but the fear that she was going to choke to death was very much present. She tried to scream but nothing got out of her mouth, she tried to fight but her arm and her body felt weak and heavy. And for some reason all she did was stare into the eyes of her murderer.

'ring! ring! ' the  sound of the alarm shrilled angrily as it rang urging its sleeping resident to wake up

The huge lump hidden under the sky blue comforter moved slowly before it made grumbling tired noises. She pulled the comforter off her head and squeezed her eyes shut to pretend she didn't just hear that horrible alarm tone she had settled on to annoy her awake and give her no chance to snooze.

Susan lazily pushed her phone off her night stand in an attempt to put it off. She slowly lifted her head grunting with reluctance to get out of the bed. Rubbing the sleep off her eyes, the event of last night came rushing down, sending an electric spark down her spine.

As she recalled everything that happened the night before, it felt more like a bad dream. The fact that she almost clawed out the eyes of her boss and a powerful man in an attempt to defend herself based on her theory 'Die fighting' clung to her like a dark gooey and sticky blob. Maybe she should just claw her own eyes out, Susan thought.

But at this moment she cursed the movie she watched that gave her such stupid idea. She was probably dead and her mind could not get over the fact that she was definitely doomed.

She pulled herself off the bed  before up her phone. It was a few minutes to eight o'clock, and she must get to work by eight. Rushing out of her bedroom, she took a quick shower, and hurriedly dressed herself in a sleeveless chiffon top that was tucked into a black knee length skirt, and black stiletto shoes. She packed her hair into her usual proffesional bun.

Looking at her self in the mirror she looked like a ghost, she was not surprised considering the fact that she barely got any sleep and the little she had was filled with nightmares or perhaps her next reality. She had to apply an extra layer of foundation and concealer to hide the bag under her eyes. She decided to go with mascara and a little lip gloss before she immediately head out.

Normally she would take the bus but today was important, and she might get fired. She decided to take her small car. She parked in the employee spot. Her spot was a good one since she works in the floor below him.

She rushed into the huge lobby, where employees were walking around in their fancy suits and formal clothes.
After scanning her card she proceeded to one elevator dedicated only to people that worked in their department and respected managers in the company.
