CHAPTER FORTY- NINE: AN UNUSUAL NIGHT

SUSAN'S POV.

Things couldn't be more tense and awkward here and right now and it seems to be getting on Aisha's nerves. I looked at Leo who kept using her fork to push around her food.

It's awkward for her too.

Aisha slowly put her food inside her mouth , chewing it slowly as she watched intently I and Leo's behavior and I seem to be very well aware of it and it was obvious Leo was too.

The silence was sickening and I couldn't help but wish so much of our former time together. This was beyond awkward and it was slowly killing me.

"That's it." Aisha slammed her fork on the dinning table, slight startling me.

"What the fuck is going on between you guys and I want answers now" she ordered.

I looked over to Leo who in return was looking at me and of course this didn't seem to escape Aisha's eyes.

"I don't know what went wrong with us but I know when this started." She turned her attention to me and I immediately knew what she was talking about.

"All this started when we knew that you were going out with the boss. I'll admit I didn't like it one bit but that doesn't mean things have to be like his. And I can't help but feel that there is something more going on but none of you guys would tell me... I miss my besties and it's killing me that we are drifting apart. " Aisha's eyes looks glassy which was a shock because Aisha is a lot of things but emotional.

She was right and my heart ached at how much we've drifted from each other but the truth is we didn't know each other to begin with.

"What do you want us to do Aisha?" I ask because I would really also like to know that.

"We can start by talking about this. Let's talk this out okay? I don't want to lose my soul sisters."

Aisha was right but how do we begin. Aisha doesn't know about Hannah and he doesn't know about Marcelo. How do we talk about this.

"There's something I need to tell you Aisha." Leo talked for the first time since the beginning of this extremely awkward dinner.

"Of course." Aisha was ready to listen.

Leo looked over at me and I could see the look in her eyes. She was going to tell Aisha?

"My- My name is not Leo." She dropped the first bomb shell

Aisha looked at he like she wasn't serious or maybe the words hasn't sink into her mind.

"My real name is Hannah and I'm not who you think I am-..."

Throughout the whole explanation and summary of Hannah's real identity Aisha remained silent. She didn't seem shocked or surprised. Her face was stagnant but the emotion missing in her face was evident in her eyes.

Her eyes expressed both surprise, sorrow, anger and everything in between.

The whole room went silent for a few minutes. Neither I, Aisha or Hannah said anything or made any sound. My attention was on my finger which now seem to be the most interesting thing in the world.

"S-So you- Leo... Hannah. That's your name Hannah." It sounded both like a question and a statement. Now she was expressing her shock fully, Leo nodded in affirmative.

"You work for Alexander Cain who in return is Marcelo King. A very dangerous and power man who- who Susan happens to be currently dating?" Her last sentence headed towards anger and shock.

She turned to me. "You know about this... about Hannah and the boss?"

"I do." I affirmed.

A slight chuckle escaped her lips.
