Finally posted part 2! And on Sunghoon's brithday too!

Soon enough, Sunghoon became a part of the group in less than a month. Everyone in the school calls him "Ice Prince" because he looks so beautiful and desirable yet he seemed cold due to rarely speaking to anyone.

But his newfound friends knew it was more out of shyness than actual coldness.

Sunghoon loved his friends so much, potentially up to romantic love, which is why he was scared of them finding out his deepest, darkest secret.

A year ago, he got physically assaulted by someone, who attacked him by biting him a lot. Good news: another person heard his screams and found him before things got really ugly. Bad news: the attacker turned out to be a vampire, and he gave Sunghoon the venom that turns others into vampires while sucking his blood. Sunghoon lived, but a few weeks after the incident, he became a vampire himself, complete with an extremely painful transformation. Sunghoon was not happy once he figured out what happened to him, but he couldn't do anything about it except live with it. Luckily, he had natural fangs before, so no one will find out, right?

Wrong. His parents caught him sucking someone's blood one night. Fuck his stupid bad luck.

His parents' reaction proved that Sunghoon wasn't the only one unhappy about him turning into a bloodsucking vampire. Their reaction was to yell: "We won't have a monster for a son!" and literally threw him out of the family with nothing but his clothes. But since he was only a minor at the time, they sent him to live with his grandma. And for once Sunghoon's crappy luck seems to give him a break because his grandmother took him in without any hesitation. His sweet little sister visited him a week later in secret to give him his allowance and his favorite plushie.

While he still has his grandma and sister, the main reason why Sunghoon was terrified of his friends/crushes finding out that he's a vampire is because he's afraid of getting abandoned and being unloved all over again. After all, trauma like that sticks around longer than you think.

"Why, good morning, princess." Jungwon says, taking the older's hand and kissing it.

(The group gave him all kinds of nicknames, like "penguin" because he apparently acts like one, but the two oldest members and Jungwon call him nicknames that fluster him. The oldest calls him either "Angel" or "Moonlight" because according to Heeseung he looks "heavenly." Jay calls him "Doll" and anything with that word because Jay said he looks like the pretty porclain dolls that his cousin likes. The leader calls him "Princess" because Jungwon says he thinks- no, he knows that he deserved to be treated like one)The others (much to Jungwon's dismay) joined them, Sunoo cuddling him to death. Sunghoon was confused why he was the one the younger was cuddling but didn't push him away.

Sunoo reluctantly let him go when the group arrived at Sunghoon, Jay and Jake's classroom. Jay and Jake played rock-paper-scissors, and when Jake won, he held Sunghoon's hand and walked to their seats, Jay grumbling something about luck.

You're lucky you're both our offspring and a minor, Sunghoon, otherwise we would've left outside during the afternoon and let you melt in the sunlight by now.

"Sweetie?" Jay's suddenly says, gently shaking the younger's shoulder. "Are you okay? You're somehow paler than you already are." Sunghoon was surprised at that. Even before he was a vampire, only his little sister and grandmother ever showed concern for his well-being. His parents, on the other hand, never gave a single fuck to him unless he screwed up.

"I-I'm okay." Sunghoon says, shaking those thoughts out of his head. Jay and Jake looked unconvinced, but decided not to push him any further.

After class, he went to the library to meet up with Heeseung. Since Sunghoon enrolled in the school a month late, he's been trying to catch up. Heeseung (and sometimes Jake too) help him with that.
