Chapter 10

You decided to hang out with Crinoid, the fluffy one. You asked Lupus if he could get him to which he nodded. He respected you, making a vow to protect you from any harm. If it will cost his life, so be it. When Crinoid came, you sat in a corner of the cave and looked like you were in thought. You then asked the weirdest question that he also questions." If rocks sink fast, why doesn't sand?" He was also confused. Why did rocks sink faster than sand? He didn't know nor did he care and just sat down where he was standing, waiting for you to notice him. You did and greeted him, not saying much in response." So, you must be Crinoid. It's a pleasure to meet you." He only nodded in response." Not much of talker? That's understandable, I don't mind." You gave him a small gentle smile, taking him by surprise." I... guess it's nice... to meet you..." Your eyes went wide for a second before giving him a nod, signalling him that you accepted him for who he was.

Six minutes later

You both went to the surface, him staying in the water to keep him hydrated." So, tell me about yourself." He asked, wanting to see whether or not to trust you." Well, I love nature; animals and studying plants to see their healing purposes. I like to swim but not too far away from the shore, in case I need to reach my medical supplies to help or save the other person's/monster's life." He was surprised that you gave away your information to him, he decided to ask you a question." Have y-" he got cut off when you both heard an animal cry, being a wolf. You sprang into action, causing him to go after you. When you arrived, you immediately went to help the wolf from a bear trap. The wolf growled and tried to claw you, failing and whimpering in pain." Hey buddy, can I help you out of that mean old thing?" As if understanding you, it sat still and you freed its paw. The barked at you before going back to its pack, probably to tell the others about you. Crinoid just stood there, shocked that you just risked your own life to save a wolf." Phew, I'm thirsty after talking to poor thing. Let's get some water before you dehydrate." You said, going to the direction of the creak you were at yesterday." Okay." He followed." What was your question again?" You asked." Well I wanted to ask you: why didn't you scream and plea for your life?" That question took you by surprise and answered." Well, there were rumours about you just killing and eating people for fun. I didn't believe that, I wanted to prove to them that you are not what they think you are. You're just misunderstood, being told that you are the bad guys while WE invaded your home and took away your hunting grounds. Therefore, I trust you since you didn't harm me in any way." That explanation was glued in his mind, taking note to tell this to the others. He was glad- overjoyed to know that there was atleast SOMEONE who understood them.

You both went to the den and you fell asleep, Crinoid going to the others to inform them if what you told him." Why did you call us for a meeting, Crinoid?" Toxin asked." I have some very interesting information about Y/n. They..." He told them every. single. detail, not leaving anything out. They were glad, happy to have a person to understand them." I have to go, Parable wanted to meet me." The others looked at him with smirks." Why are you looking at me like that?" Exemplum sweated." When are you going to have chicks/ small fry's?" Figment asked. The others teased him before laughing when he went out of the cave, going back to business about the information Crinoid told them.
