Fable just watched from the trees, his guard going up when he heard a twig snap. He looked in the direction and saw Parable, he was ready to take you back to his nest. Fable got ready when Parable was gonna strike, you and Figment unaware of the danger. Parable went after you, you saw him and dived down but not fast enough. Figment looked confused before seeing Parable trying to grab you, that was if Fable didn't interfere." FABLE?!" He yelled, you coming back to the surface and swam as far away from Parable as possible." Go, brother. I'll hold him off!" Parable managed to hurt one of his wings but he still fought, determined to protect the two beings from him." B-but-" He got cut off by Fable." GO!" He never knew that his brother could sound so serious, let alone, fearless. Figment just stood there for a few seconds before going to shore, you waiting for him." WHY CAN'T YOU SEE THAT HE WILL EAT THEM, FABLE?!" Parable screeched, angry that his own best friend defended the two of you." Can't you see that he didn't do anything to them?! Are you that blind?!" Fable asked, yelling slightly. The two of you long gone and back in the cave." YOU'RE A TRAITOR! I WISH WE WEREN'T FRIENDS!" He realized what he said." Fabel, Ididn't me-" Fabel looked down, tears about spill." If you so wish to not be friends anymore," his voice cracked slightly." then let's not be friends anymore..." Fabel looked up at Parable, his expression filled with one thing: he was heart broken." Fabel wa-" It was too late, he flew away from him and heading back to his part of the woods. Although he had a massive scar on his wing, it wasn't deep enough to not let him fly. Parable regretted what he said and flew after him, wanting to apologize.
You and Figment were in utter shock." I- I never noticed that he would risk his own life to save ours, especially mine." Figment felt guilty for hating his brother, he wanted to make it up to him." Hey, do you know where Fabel lives?" That sudden question filled him with hope." Yes, why?" He asked, thinking what thinks your thinking." Because I want to make sure he is okay, maybe you could make it up to him!" He was excited, he wanted to spend some time with Fable.
