[Rewrite] What If Callum was Half Saiyan?

Season 2 - Part 1

We continue the story with Callum writing a letter while saying the words out loud.

Callum: It feels like it's been forever since we left home, but it's only been a week. We left because, turns out that the egg of the Dragon Prince was still alive. So Ezran and I decided to go on an exciting and kinda dangerous journey to carry that shiny egg all the way to Xadia. We're hoping this'll stop elves and humans from hating each other. So far things are pretty great! I've been training and I can do magic! And we even made a new friend, Rayla. She's a Moonshadow Elf and nothing we heard about elves is true. Rayla's kind, fearless, fast, strong, we even fought for a little bit in the castle before we became friends! She thinks she can beat me in a fight but I don't think so.

Rayla: Oh trust me, I can.

Callum: Oh, hey, Rayla! I didn't see you there! Also, in your dreams.

He says with a grin before they laughed together.

Rayla: So, who're you writing to?

Callum: My step dad.

Rayla: . . . You're writing to the King?

Callum: Yeah, I figure he's gonna be worried about us so, you know . . .

Rayla: Yeah . . .

She said, trying not to let Callum see her saddened expression as the young half saiyan continues to write.

Callum: 'Journeys can be pretty surprising. Nothing goes the way you expect which is pretty exciting for me. We are now taking care of a cute little baby dragon, that is always trying to play with my tail . . . with his teeth.'

He wrote while Zym was trying to catch a moth with Ezran watching over him.

After a little while Callum, Rayla and Ezran walk beside each other while they watched Zym play.

Lujanne: Come and get it, everyone.

She said, showing everyone a humongous table with lots of food.

Lujanne: Elves and humans over here, and those with three or more legs can sit there with Phoe-Phoe.

Ezran: Phoe-Phoe?

Lujanne: She is a Moon Phoenix. So her name is short for "Phoenix-Phoenix".

She said while Callum & Ezran began eating, though Callum was eating at an astonishing speed.

Ezran: You have the best food up here. What's your secret?

Lujanne: Well, my secret is . . . that it's all fake.

Callum: What're you talking about?

Lujanne: Fake, they're delicious illusions. You're actually eating grubs.

Callum tilted his head in confusion.

Ezran: By grub do you mean, "Wow this is some good grub"?

Lujanne: No. Do you see what Phoe-Phoe is eating?

Ezran: That bowl of worms?

Lujanne: Yes. Those are grubs.

Ezran was shocked and grossed out by this as he lets a couple of grubs fall out of his mouth.

Callum: . . . Meh.

He shrugged as he continued to eat.

Ezran: You're still eating that?
