[Rewrite] What If Callum was Half Saiyan?

It was a nice afternoon as Callum & Rayla ride their beasts through the forest.

Suddenly, they heard something as the beasts stopped and growled.

Rayla: Someone's coming.

She says before Callum and herself dismount the beasts, fists and swords at the ready.

Zym hides behind Callum, making a fearful whimper as the Moonshadow elf and Half Saiyan look around to find whoever made that sound.

Suddenly, a female Skywing elf appears, landing on the ground in front of them.

???: Greetings, travelers. My name is Naimi-Selari-Nykantia. But they call me "Nyx."

Rayla: Hi, Nyx. My name's Rayla. They call me "Rayla." And I'm in a bad mood. Either you fly away now or I'm going to use these blades to do something that's gonna cheer me up.

Nyx: Ah, I should have guessed. You're the banished Moonshadow elf.

Rayla: What? What are you talking about?

Nyx: I am an emissary of the Dragon Queen. She received your message, and she sent me to help you. I am at your service.

She says with a bow as Callum and Rayla look at each other.

Nyx: And you must be the tailed human companion.

Callum: Oh, yeah. I'm Callum, nice to meet ya.

He said as Zym came out of hiding.

Nyx: And there he is, the dragon of the hour. Oh, and he has his mother's eyes. I have been authorized by the Dragon Queen to fly him directly home.

Rayla: That's not going to happen. We're doing just fine on our own, Nyx.

Nyx: I can get the baby dragon home fast, and that's what matters most.

She says before Rayla holds one of her blades in the Skywing elf's face.

Rayla: We're not letting you take Zym.

Nyx: Woah! Okay, okay, understood. Well, how about I give you all a ride?

Rayla: Not interested.

Nyx: You sure? How do you plan to cross the Midnight Desert?

Rayla: Do we look stupid? We're not crossing through the Midnight Desert. We're going around it.

Nyx: The Dragon Queen is dying and you would waste a week, when I can take you straight across in two days?

Rayla: . . . How?

Nyx: Follow me.

She said as she took flight while the rest followed.

After some time, they reached the end of the forest and the border to the Midnight Desert.

Callum: Woah. This is the Midnight Desert?

Nyx: Yup. The Midnight Desert is hot, haunted and horrifying. The black sand soaks up the sun, so in the daytime it's hotter than any desert known to elf. And the night is worse.

Callum: How much worse?

Nyx: It's infested with Soulfang serpents. They suck the spirit out of their victims, turning them into barely-living husks. But we're going to be above all that. Literally.

She says as they look to the distance seeing a massive creature walking in the desert.

Nyx: There she is. That's my ride. An Ambler.
