[Rewrite] What If Callum was Half Saiyan?

Rayla: She's got Zym! We have to stop her before they get too far into the desert!

Callum: Wait! Where are our animal buddies?

Rayla: Ugh! Nyx must've untied them!

Suddenly, they heard their mounts whimpering in the distance. They run towards the barrier as both beasts are outside of the oasis.

Rayla then whistles for them as the cat-like beast comes to her.

Rayla whistles again for the dog-like beast, but it didn't listen as it barked and stomped around the desert sand.

Rayla: Why won't she come?

She says before exiting the barrier with Callum right behind her. They stopped upon seeing two black cobra-like creatures with glowing green eyes and bellies.

Rayla: Soulfang Serpents. We need to stay very, very still and-

Callum: No time!

He yelled as he rushes in to help, much to Rayla's surprise.

Rayla: Callum, are you kidding me!?

She yelled as she ran after him.

One of the soulfangs noticed Callum, lunging towards him with it's fang at the ready.

Callum dodged the serpent as he continues forward.

The soulfang then saw Rayla coming and attacks, Rayla dodged but kept her distance as the soulfang circles her.

It lunged forward only for Rayla to cut it's head off with her blade.

The second soulfang had gotten onto the mount and was about to bite her. But Callum came in, kicking the soulfang off the mount and into the air.

Callum: Come on, girl! Let's get you out of here!

He says, carrying the mount as they make a run for it back to the barrier as more soulfangs arrived.

Once they were safe inside the barrier, Rayla smacks Callum's tail.

Callum: Ow! What was that for?!

Rayla: That was for rushing in without a plan, ya idiot!

Callum: Sorry . . . so are we gonna go after Nyx?

Rayla: That depends. You think you can carry me and our mounts in the air to avoid the soulfang serpents?

Callum: Oh yeah, definitely.

He said, carrying Rayla and both their mounts as he flew into the air and out of the oasis, following the Ambler's giant footprints.

It took a couple of hours as the sun had finally risen, but they could see the Ambler up ahead.

Callum: Hey, Rayla! The Ambler's not moving!

Rayla: It's foot must be stuck again! This is our chance to catch up! Put the mounts down and let's go!

Callum: You got it!

He says before flying low, gently dropping the mounts as they ran behind them.

It was then that Nyx noticed our duo catching up to her.

She then immediately picked up the pace, getting her Ambler's foot unstuck as she flew up to her saddle.

Rayla: She got it's foot unstuck!

Callum: Don't worry! They're still too slow!

He says, flying higher and higher as they risen up along the Ambler's side until they reached the creature's back.
