Our protagonists approach the Storm Spire at the beginning of it's path upwards.

Callum: Wow . . . it's so tall. Are gonna climb all the way to the top?

Rayla: Yup.

Callum: Challenge accepted.

He said, stretching as Zym whimpers, crawling into Ezran's lap.

Ezran: Don't worry, Zym. You're about to meet your mama.

He says before they all headed up the Storm Spire.

After about an hour, they made it high enough as they were surrounded by the clouds.

Callum: Hey, Rayla, when we get up there, are we gonna tell the Dragon Queen we're a thing?

Rayla: Uh, I don't think it's gonna come up.

Callum: So you think we should hide it from her? Like a secret forbidden romance kinda thing?

He says with a grin, making Rayla smile as she turns to face him.

Rayla: That's right. The Dragon Queen must never know.

She says in a playful, sarcastic tone as Callum plays along.

Callum: I understand. The world just isn't ready for what we have.

Rayla then gives him a playful punch to the arm as they chuckled.

The others were ahead of them as the young couple soon caught up to them, standing in front of a gate with runes on it.

Rayla: This is elven writing.

Callum: What's it say?

Rayla: It says . . . "Prepare to draw your last breath."

They all stared at the gate for a moment before continuing up the path.

We now cut to the city of Lux Aurea, home of the Sunfire Elves.

The Sunfire Knight, named Janai was walking down some stairs as she saw Amaya having a friendly sign language conversation with the Royal Interpreter, Kazi.

Things weren't exactly going well at first when Amaya was first brought here, but the mute general had gotten along with Kazi and even becoming friends with Janai.

Kazi: You know, I think I'm really getting the hang of this.

She says, referring to her better understanding of sign language thanks to Amaya before Janai entered the wall of flames unharmed, as is the norm of every Sunfire Elf.

Janai: Bad news, my human friend. Your King came seeking passage.

She said as Amaya looks at her with confusion before using sign language with Kazi translating.

Kazi: What? That's impossible.

Janai: The Light revealed his true nature. Tainted with darkness, rotten to the core.

She scoffs.

Janai: Such an arrogant man.

She says before Amaya's eyes widened upon realizing who she was referring to.

The mute general then gets up and uses sign language, Kazi translating for her.

Kazi: That man is no king. He may be the most dangerous human in the world.

Janai: No matter. The Queen sentenced him to be purified. After the ritual, I doubt there will be anything left of him.

She says, taking a couple of steps before Amaya grabbed her by the arm.
