Name reasoning // Tide: She was born on high tide and the tide almost washed her away, (warrior suffix because you should already know the meaning of star for leaders) mouse: Because she had a high respect for mice and never dared to eat or hunt them, so she grew a strong connection with mice

5/5. I love the prefix Tide! It may be overused and all but I'm in love with it. I know lots of people say that having an animal suffix is just a no. . . but most of my OCs have an animal suffix because it makes sense with them. Props to you!

Gender // She-cat

Age // She is 99 moons old

Sexuality // Pansexual

Clan // WaveClan:: A clan that lives mostly on the beach and has few trees and mainly palm trees. They get the most waves on the large deserted island and they have lots of large, sharp, jagged rocks that are very dangerous. Their main danger/threat is the giant rocks and sharks that inhabit the area. Their main prey is mice(that was no more until Tidemouse became leader), fish, and sometimes small sharks like black-tip and white-tip reef sharks, sometimes crabs and they do eat/drink coconut milk and eat other fruits like Pineapple, Apples, and Mangos. They are very strong swimmers and have adapted to the sea-water by having THICK fur inside their ears to keep water out and their body-build is normally very strong and their legs are very strong for swimming against currants. Their paw-pads are very strong. They have short but sharp teeth and sharp claws. (THIS IS IN MY AU! If you would like to know about CaribbeanClan(One of the neighboring clans) go to my profile). Neighboring clans are MexicoClan, OceanClan, and CaribbeanClan.

Appearance // A strong but lean and medium sized she-cat. They are a grey she-cat with pale ginger striped splotches and they have white speckles on tail, tail is plumed and they are a short-haired cat. They have one nicked ear and two scars, one major, first scar is a nose scar and second is a very long scar going down the left side of her body from the shoulder to the thigh.

4/10. This is very unrealistic. Cats can't have ginger stripes, it's usually darker than their fur or black.  Cats can't have white speckles on their tail, or anywhere. The plumed tail alone is possible though. Eye color?

Personality // She is very noble and loyal. Tidestar is also very open to other cats than she used to and is very nice. She is not that passive though and sometimes tends to be aggressive to some cats that she finds rude or evil. She would do anything to protect her clan. She knows (MY AU) Spanish and English and hates when other cats assult her for that. She has social anxiety during gatherings but tends to hide it and continue.

6/10. Rather overused for she-cats again but you changed it up enough that you get a higher rating. Knowing two languages in your AU is smart! 

Parents // She never knew her parents, but some say they were rouges who snuck on the island, others say she was abandon by MexicoClan. Her adopted mother was Orcasky :: A black and white tuxedo she-cat with a small nose scar and blue eyes

Siblings // Lilacstone :: Lilacpaw was basically the same colors as Tidestar but switched and she has lilac colored eyes. She has one shoulder scar, Personality :: Tidestar and Lilacstone never got along well so she came off blunt, cold, rude, and self-centered towards Tide

Backstory // Tidekit was never really born in WaveClan, she was adopted. She smelled like MexicoClan so some say she was abandon by them, but others said she was abandon by her rouge parents. Tidekit never did much as a kit and stayed by herself most of the time. When she became an apprentice she started becoming more open to others and became more loyal and noble.

Really plain starting sentience, but this isn't a book so- it would be interesting to see her being rather close to her adopted mother so they have a decent relationship. Also adding a few things in her kithood would be nice. Did she have any good friends? Did she get in trouble anymore?

 She once snuck out of camp though and met a mouse family with no food. She found them a chunk of fruit and they ate it. She snuck out every night to help get food for them and she never tried to eat them. She told stories about them o the elders, knowing they would listen and sometimes warriors and other apprentices. Her sister called her a Seagull-brain though because of that and the other apprentices just laughed. Soon during her warrior ceremony she was renamed Tidemouse because she had friendships with mice. The clan laughed disrespectfully at her. One of the younger apprentices shouted, "HA! That's reasonable!"

I hate the other cats in this. Having Tidepaw being close to a mouse family is original in a way. Having her show one of her friends the mice family and they eat them would add a nice twist to it. Other than the animal it's a bit cliche. Most MCs I find will help some rogue or injured predator and heal them back to health then they bond a close relationship. Also the clan making fun of her too. Some cats should stand up for her at least even if they don't believe her either, her adopted mother for example.

The leader made them quiet and dismissed the clan. Things weren't going well for Tidemouse and she hanged out with her mice only. Two moons after her warrior ceremony her adopted mother, Orcasky, died. Lilacstone blamed it on Tidemouse and called a mistake & a curse, when Orcasky just died of old age. 

Siblings blaming each other for a death of some sort is something I see EVERY day. Change it up a bit!

Tidemouse ran away the next night and lived with her mouse friends to help provide for them. When the clan noticed Tidemouse was missing they searched for her. The search lasted for four moons because she kept running away to different spots on the island and she never left a trace. When she was found she tried to show more loyalty. 

If a cat runs away, they have to be more loyal. Did she really start to be more loyal, or just pretend for the sake of it? The MC is running away is cliche too.

More moons passed and the leader, Saturnstar, died of old age and Lightleap took her place as Lightstar and made Tidemouse deputy. All was well until MexicoClan decided to steal food. They fought for most of the night and WaveClan won. Lightstar lost two lives, one to Newtonstar, and one to a deep, infected wound. A few moons later Lightstar joined a hunting party at the Jagged Rocks and was attacked by a shark. Three sharks circled the cats and they all aimed for the leader and Seastorm. Seastorm died and Lightstar lost four lives. Lightstar started to believe that she wasn't a good leader and had bad luck. She retired a week later and Tidemouse became leader.

What did Tidemouse do to deserve becoming deputy?

42/50. Really great but short backstory with some flaws. This OC could be great if you change up a few details!
