chapter six

~~3rd person Pov~~

It's finally the weekend, it's not like that Y/N prefer weekends, cause she needs to stay extra time with her parents...but she needs this time cause the first semester is about to end and the exams are 2 weeks ahead so she had to study hard for it

Y/N was studying under the stairs when she heard a knock on the door, she quickly hid the book under the sheets on the ground, then the mother run from upstairs to open the door

"Go upstairs and never come down" she demanded "who the fuck is that" she whisper yelled in annoyance

Y/N did what she asked for and went to her room, she sat on the bed doing nothing 'I wish I brought the book with me' she thought then sight and lie on the bed

Y/N's mother opened the door to see an unfamiliar female figure standing on the other side

"Are you miss L/N?" The girl said with a smile

"Yes, who are you?" Miss L/N said with anxiety, she was scared that this woman is someone from the government that figure out about the unfriendly way she treat her daughter

"My name is Monika, I am your daughter partner in school, I want to tell her about a few instructions the principal talked with us about after school yesterday and Y/N couldn't make it so I volunteer to tell her about them" yup, it was a lie

The mother sight in relief knowing that such a nerd won't cause any troubles, but wait- she can't see Y/N wearing such clothes! "Ok but she is sleeping, let me wake her up" the mother faked a smile and let Monika in, she let her set on the couch then went to Y/N room

Monika looked around the house, it wasn't very clean, and there was an alcohol bottle on the coffee table, if Y/N wasn't 17, Monika would take that as a red flag

When she made sure that the mother is in Y/N room, she decided to look around the house, it wasn't very big and the living room looked kind of empty

She get off the couch and went to the closest room that looked like a kitchen, there weren't lots of things there, it's just looked like a normal kitchen, she noticed an ashtray on the table, she hold it and inhaled it

"Weed" she muttered, now that was a red flag

She put it on the table and run back to the living room, that when something drag her attention, there was a sheet under the stairs, who puts a sheet under the stairs? And it was messed up, that means it was currently used, she walked over to it and noticed something under it, she pull it and it was a Biology book, Y/N's book, to be exact

She heard a crack of a door so she run back and sat on the couch with the book

"She will be here in any second" the mother said

"Thanks miss but I will talk with her in her room"

"Wait"

"What? Is there any problem?" Monika rose a brow

"N-no, just knock on the door before you get in" she answered feeling anxious, what if her stupid daughter couldn't finish changing?

"I will, I have manners after all" She said then walked the way to Y/N room
