Chapter Sixteen

~~Dream Pov~~

I shut the portal behind me, I stared at the box Ink threw me and smiled, Y/N will probably be very mad at me, I need to apologize to her, and maybe the gift is going to make her feel better

Then there was that thought that made me anxious, I can't confess to her now, I don't know how is my brother going to react once he finds out I woke up, let away that there is a possibility that she had lost feelings for me

I sight and put the box back in my pocket, I memorized the path to Y/N's house, a slight smile formed on my face remembering all the good times we got together, I blushed remembering that time when she mistaken her words and confessed to me, it was funny how she covers it bt saying that she meant it in a siblingly way, if I didn't feel not ready, I was going to take the chance and confess back in a more clear way, but I think I am not that type of guys

I reached her house, because it was morning, she won't be on the roof, so, I knocked on the door and waited for her

Seconds later, Mrs L/N opened the door- I FORGET ABOUT HER PARENTS

"Hello? Who are you?" The miss asked

"I- I was looking for Y/N, I am a friend of her" I nervously answered

The woman covered her mouth "don't you know?" She said in a shaking tone

"Know what...?" I worriedly said growing anxious, what did I miss?

"Y/N...she...passed away a weak ago" the woman said in a sad tone, my pupils shrink at the new announcement, Y/N is...dead?

"H-how a-and when did that happen?" I asked in a shaky voice and

"A few days ago, she was on a trip with her friends to the mountains, then a rock..." she covered her eyes and started crying

Now, the time paused to me, since when her parents let her out of the house? And since when Y/N got friends other than Monika, even if she got new friends and her parents let her out, this woman isn't actually sad about the news, she is faking all of these feelings, there is a lie somewhere, I just have to find it

"I am sorry for reminding you, miss" I said "may I get you a cup of water, it will make you feel better" I offered with a smile

She was annoyed in the inside, but moved aside "you are such a good monster" she sniffed

I didn't answer, I guide her to the couch and helped her to set in "thanks" she said

I headed to what I supposed was the kitchen and get her a cup of water, she drank it and put it on the coffee table in front of the couch

"So, you are a friend of my daughter?"

"Yes, I used to be her friend"

"How did you meet? Y/N never talked to me about you"

This woman was looking for information as I was looking for some, and I wasn't planning to give her any

"It was a coincidence" thats all I declared

She was about to say something else but I cut her off "I think I am missing lots of news nowadays, let's turn on the TV"
