Falling

Chapter 8-Libby

   Two fucking months. He left without a damn word and it's been two months.

   I'm not stupid. His mom told me he had to go back for work. Which in any other circumstance would suck but I could get over it, but I have a devastated four year old who now thinks her daddy abandoned her.

   I am livid. He hurt us again. No goodbyes, no I'll be backs, not even a go fuck yourself. Two months of hell, two months of heart break for us. Lennon can't sleep in her own bed and I can't sleep period. He missed yet another birthday.

   Tucker's family however did not. 

As much as I hated being left behind by Tuck again, I let his family take Lennon out. They offered to bring me but I couldn't bring myself to go. Lennon deserved to know that part of her family and if I was there she would just clutch to me.

That was new, my little Lenny being clingy. My outgoing little girl had been so heart broken when I told her daddy left for work and then he never called she now has lost her spirit, and that makes me really fucking mad. 

Break me all you want but not Lennon. I knew I shouldn't have let him in again. She got him for one day fell in love with her dad and he broke her just like he broke me.

Lennon and I are sitting watching barbie dream house on the tv when the doorbell rings. I'm not expecting anyone and Sammy would have just waltzed in. I swing open the door and I am dumbstruck to see him standing yet again on my front porch.

"Hey bab.."Slam. I cut him off slamming the door in his face.

"Mommy are you ok?" Lennon asks when I get back to the living room.

I can't breathe. I hear him pounding on the door calling our names but I ignore it. Lennons green eyes get big 

"Is that daddy?" she whispers.

"Do you want to see him?" I ask because as much as I hate Tucker right now Lennon is the center of my world.

"Can I? Will you come with me?" She asks.

 Fuck I hate this but I have to do it for her. I will not be the reason this time for them not seeing each other. I grab her hand and we walk to the door. She hides behind my legs again and my heart breaks. I would do anything to get my little girl back.

I open the door and see Tucker standing there.

"What do you want Tucker" I ask trying to keep the venom out of my voice fo Lennon's sake. He looks taken aback. 

"What a warm welcome. I've been gone for two months I wanted to se my girls." He states firmly.

I roll my eyes 

"Daddy?" Lennon asks finally stepping from behind me.

"Hi princess I missed you" He says as he reaches for a hug. Lennon lets him hug her but she doesnn't hug him back. Lennon bursts into tears and runs back into the house.

"What did you do Libby?" He asks glaring at me. I scoff, of course he thinks it's my fault.
