Michelle's POV

So, lately I have been thinking about giving full dance captaincy to Emily. I really don't want to, but I know I have too.

It's about 8 in the morning and I just come to the studio to talk to Kate about my decision.

Michelle: "Miss. Kate?" I ask knocking on her door.

Kate: "Michelle! Come in." She says sitting in her office chair.

Michelle: "hey."

Kate: "good morning. What can I do for you?" She asks with a smile.

Michelle: "well- I- actually-" I stutter.

Kate: "Michelle?" She chuckles, "what's going on?"

Michelle: "well, I have to talk to you about something."

Kate: "so do I."

Michelle: "you- you do?" I ask nervously.

Kate: "I was meaning to talk to you last night before you left, but I didn't get a chance to."

Michelle: "oh. Well, I need to talk to you about being dance captain."

Kate: "really? That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about." She says closing her laptop.

Michelle: "oh?"

Kate: "Emily talked to me last night, and she wants to take full captaincy."

I can't believe Emily would do something like this. I mean, I can, but I just didn't think she would ever do something like this, not even to me.

I know Emily is plotting against me, so I know exactly what I have to do.

Michelle: "But-"

Kate: "don't worry." She says guiding me to a chair in front of her desk, "I told her I wouldn't promise anything. Not until I talked to you first."

Michelle: "well, actually, I also wanted to be full dance captain."

I can't believe I was thinking of passing full captaincy over to Emily on a silver platter! I know Emily will hate me forever if I do this, but she already does. What else do I have to loose?

Kate: "you- you do?" She asks confusingly.

Michelle: "yeah." I nod.

Kate: "well, I'll call a meeting today when you come here for group rehearsal." She nods.

Michelle: I stand up, "thank you, Miss. Kate."

Kate: "anytime." She smiles,"now you better get to school before you're late."

I nod and exit the studio.

If Emily wants to start a war, consider it started.

James's POV

So riley and I are walking to fourth period since we have the same class together.

James: "how are you and Emily?"

Riley: "we're okay, I guess. She talked to me about being distant. She apologized but it still feels like she's not really there, you know?"
