A/N: I am going to try updating every Sunday and maybe Saturday! It all depends on how far the chapter and everything else is coming along.

The winners for the next step awards have been put up! If you didn't know, I came in second with _tnsreality coming in first!

I wanted to give you all a big thank you for supporting me. If I didn't have all the fans and the support I get from you guys, I wouldn't be here today. I love all of you 💓

Also a big thanks to Cute_Like_Candi for even considering me as a nominee! And a big congratulations to _tnsreality ! You are an amazing writer!

Anyways I hope you enjoy! 💜

P.S. I might be a little late with the update next week just because I am starting school soon.

•Chapter 41•

Riley's POV

It's been exactly a week in a half since me and the rest of some of the studio have been secretly rehearsing Michelle's routine. We have practice again tonight so hopefully I can sneak out without anyone noticing.

I am in my room and I am just finishing up the project that James gave me before I walk over to practice. I finish gluing the last piece of glass and I gently put it on my dresser. I realize it's a colorful, big round bowl. I take a picture of it and turn my phone back off.

There are about a hundred different cracks on this thing, I honestly don't know how I was capable to finish putting all these pieces together. I clean up the mess that was on my floor and I go back to my dresser to observe it. On the inside of the bowl there is a huge word written on it. It says hope.

I think I finally realize why James gave me all these ceramic glass pieces.

Emily's POV

My mom told me to go up to Riley's room to tell her it's time for dinner. I walk upstairs and see her staring at something on her dresser.

"What're you looking at?" I ask. She turns to me but looks away.

"Nothing." She replies grabbing her dance bag and her phone.

"Where are you going?" I ask.

Riley's POV

I don't know what to tell Emily. I can't tell her I'm going to the studio because she's already suspicious of me leaving early and late.

"I'm- I'm going to Giselle's house." I say.

"Why do you have your dance bag then?"

"For practice in the morning." I say. After I say this, I remember that we don't have practice with Emily till tomorrow afternoon. I know I'm in trouble.

"But we don't have practice till tomorrow afternoon." She replies.

"I know," I say, "but we might be going into the city in the morning and I don't want to come all the way home to get my bag when we get back into town."

She nods slowly, "okay."

Emily's POV

Riley's explanation doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I'm starting to question if she's really telling me the truth.

*****

Stephanie's POV

I gather my dance things for practice tonight with Michelle. As I walk out of my room towards the stairs and I see Spencer in his room. His door is open a little bit and I see that he's at his desk, on his laptop.
