Jason The Toymaker POV
Me and Jack headed into the small town where my toy shop was. I figured I get some work done before we do anything "fun." We walked in and I changed the sign to 'open.' "Do you want to come with me in my workshop or do you wanna stay out here?" I asked Jack as he stared at all the shelves of toys and dolls. "Oh! Yeah I'm coming!" Jack said as we both walked into Jason's workshop. "I'm just gonna make some toys...don't bother me, okay?" I said sternly. "But I'm gonna be bored!" Jack whined. "Then you can go outside and help people find which toy they want and be the cashier." I said, sitting down on my chair. "Fine..." Jack grumbled and stomped out. 'Finally. Some peace and quiet.' I thought to myself as I started to finish the teddy bear I began working on yesterday.
Laughing Jack POV
'I hate this.' I thought to myself as I took a toy off the shelf. It was 12:20 pm and I was starving and bored. The door to Jason's workshop opened and Jason walked out. "Jason!" I said happily. I ran over and hugged him. A second later I realized what I did and pulled away. Jason looked at me weirdly. I gave him an awkward smile. "I'm STARVING!!" I said, crossing my arms. "Then let's go get some food." Jason said, taking my hand and walking out. I blushed, but then I thought to myself, 'why would Jason be holding MY hand? Doesn't he hate me...?' I shrugged the thought off and worried about what to eat.

We walked down the sidewalk, looking for the place I usually ate at during work. "Are we there yet?" Jack whined. I rolled my eyes and stopped walking. "Yes, we're here." "Yes! Food!" Jack said happily and went in. I went in after him and noticed something. I was holding his hand the entire time we were walking there. Weird. We sat down at a table for two and opened the menu. "I'm gonna get pasta." I said, putting the menu down. "I'll get some too." Jack said, resting his head on the table. I got up to go wash my hands and came back. I sat down and a waitress came over. "What would you two gentlemen like?" She said smiling. I smiled and replied, "we'll take two pastas and two glasses of water" "Coming right up!" She said, writing it down in her notebook. Five minutes later, she came back with a tray that contained what we ordered. She set our food and drinks down on the table. "Enjoy!" She said cheerfully, and walked away. I grabbed the napkin we got and put it in my lap and started to eat.
Laughing Jack POV
I snatched the spoon and scooped up some pasta and put it in my mouth. Delicious. I started eating it like crazy, and while Jason scooped up his first bite with his fork, he looked at me funny. He put the fork on the plate and whispered to me. "Show some manners!" He hissed angrily. I smirked, ignored him and continued to chow down the food. I loved annoying him. It was practically my hobby! He nodded his head disappointingly and ate. We finished our food, Jason paid, and he left at about 1:00. We walked back to his toy shop. "No way. We are not continuing what we were doing." I protested, grabbing Jason's arm. "I know. I was just grabbing some paper. I wanted to sketch something." Jason said, annoyed. 'Wait, Jason sketches? I thought that was Helen's thing.' I thought. I have to admit, I did want to draw. "Can I join you?" I asked in a polite tone. Jason hesitated but then said, "fine. Let's go."
Jason The Toymaker POV
We walked into my workshop and I grabbed some paper and pencils. I handed one to Jack and sat down at my work bench. I felt him staring at me. "What?" I asked, annoyed. "Um, where do I sit?" He asked, annoyed. "On the couch, obviously." I replied back, the hint of annoyance not leaving my voice. "Take that piece of wood and draw." I said, pointing to a medium-sized piece of smooth wood that I carved. Jack sat down and started to sketch. We must've sat there for hours. "Finished!" Jack said triumphantly, standing up. "Me too." I said standing up. "I drew this!" Jack said, revealing his masterpiece. It was just a pile of different candies. I revealed the two pictures I drew. One of them was Laughing Jill, and the other was Maggie, one of my victims. This is what my drawings looked like:
(None of the art is mine, they go to their rightful owners.)
Jack's eyes widened and his mouth dropped open. "Wha- how-" he stammered. I smirked and chuckled. "I guess I'm just really good at drawing. Now let's go outside and get some fresh air." I said, grabbing Jack's hand. We exited my toyshop, and I flipped the sign to 'closed.'
