Laughing Jack POV

I woke up slowly, expecting to see black & white wallpaper around me. Instead, I saw burgundy-colored walls. 'Wh-where am I?' I thought to myself. I felt something move on my chest. I looked down to see Jason sleeping there. My eyes widened and my face heated up. So many thoughts were running through my head at that moment. 'Why am I in Jason's room? What happened last night? Wow, Jason is so handsome...' Jason started to wake up. His eyes slowly fluttered open. He stared at me for a second and then turned his head away from me. Looks like he was trying to process what happened too. "Hey Jason, why am I in your room?" I asked confusedly. "U-um last night...you were...you..." He stuttered, his head still turned away from me. " I teleported in front of him, standing beside his bed. I put my pointer finger (or claw-) under his chin and raised his chin up to get a better look at him. He was blushing, and when he looked at me, he turned red. "Um...are you okay...?" I asked, worriedly. "Y-yeah I'm f-fine.." He stuttered again. "Now, what happened last night?" I asked. Jason took a deep breath and held my hand. Now it was my turn to blush. "You were drunk, and you came into my room while I was sleeping." He said, sounding unsure.

I told Jack about what happened last night. Though, I kind of twisted it. Well, not twisted, I left some parts out. I left out the part when we kissed, and told each other that we loved each other. I'm still wondering if he really meant it. 'Did he actually mean it? Don't be stupid. He was drunk. People say and do things they don't mean when they're drunk. And that's what Jack did. He's just a friend...though I wish we could be more..." That's what I thought in my head. "Oh. Well it's...10 am, so wanna go downstairs?" Jack asked me, as if yesterday night never happened. "Oh. Sure." I said, and got out of bed. Jack teleported us straight to the dining room, where some of the pastas were. We sat down and started to eat breakfast. The day was normal from that moment on. Jason got sent on a few missions, and so did I. I killed a lot of people, and came back late at night. Of course, me & Jason had time to hang out in between. We became best friends. Every time, I wished we could be more than friends. That's how the next few months passed.

{Time skip to a few months}

Laughing Jack POV

Months had gone by, and Jason & I became best friends. Did I mention that already? Every day, I got to look into either his beautiful honey-colored eyes, or his sparkling emerald-green ones, depending on the mood he was in. It was strange though. Often, he was in his 'true form' when I came to visit. As soon as I entered his workshop, he turned back into his false form. It was weird. In meetings, I would day-dream about Jason. Slenderman would have to snap me out of it, though. Candypop also visited us a few times. Jason would always turn cold when he came though. We were all best friends, so why was he acting this way all of a sudden?

Jason The Toymaker POV

Jack & I were best friends. That's all there was to it. We were inseparable. We would always talk in our free time, and I would beg Slenderman to send us on a mission together. He would always say, "When the time is right. Now leave." I was always pissed off by that. Jack seemed...different around me. Around others, he would be his normal, dark, psychotic, cackling self. But around me, he would be all soft. I couldn't really describe it. Even around Candypop he wasn't like that. Odd.
