Chapter 12: Telling People

Jason The Toymaker POV

"What do you think he'll say?" Jack asked me, squeezing my hand. We were about to tell Slender and the others that we were dating.

"I think he'll accept it. Besides, look at Jane and Sadie. Slender accepted them, didn't he?" I said, smiling.

"Oh yeah. Forgot they existed." He said, grinning at me. We made our way downstairs (a long way down) and saw Candypop on the couch and Nathan the Nobody on the floor. Candy noticed us and gave us a small wave. We looked at each other and walked over to them.

"Hey. We were just about to watch a movie." He stated, and noticed us holding hands. "Ya'll seem real close." He said with his eyebrow raised.

"Yeah, what's up with that?" Nathan said quietly. Jack looked at me then back at them.

"Oh, we're dating." He said cheerfully. Candy looked shocked then frowned.

"Okay, now I'm seriously depressed. I mean, come on. Even L.J has a lover." He exclaimed and slumped on the couch. Nathan got up and patted his shoulder.

"To get a lover, you have to to tell them you like them. So you have much to do, my friend." He explained.

"Wow okay." Candy replied. I felt a tug on my vest and looked down. It was Sally, and she looked happy.

"Jason, Slender said it's your turn to play with me. Jack can come to if you want!" She beamed. I smiled.

"Okay. Come on Jack." I looked at him and he looked like he didn't mind. We followed her to her room and sat down on the fluffy carpet. I looked at all the dolls, toys, and stuffed animals and smiled. All of these were my creations.

"Let's have a tea party with the dolls!" Sally exclaimed. We played with her for some time, then she said we could go. We left her room and went back to the main floor. Jeff and Ben were playing a game there.

"Hey guys. What are you playing?" Jack asked, clearly interested.

"Dark Deception. We're trying to complete it, but these damn clowns are so freaking hard to beat." Jeff said sounding pissed off. Jack chuckled and kept watching.

"Darling, let's go do something else." I insisted. Jeff & Ben both looked at us.

"You guys are dating?" Ben asked bluntly.

"Yeah." Jack replied.

"Dang Jack, somebody likes you?" Jeff said, emphasizing the 'you.'

"Yeah, and if you have such a 'beautiful face,' then how come nobody likes you?" Jack replied with a smirk.

"You take that back." Jeff sneered.

"Make me." Jack growled, getting inches away from Jeff's face.

"Jason, Jack!" A voice called. It was Slender with Sally beside him. "Follow me to my office, please." He said politely. I took a sharp breath in. Me and Jack followed him and sat down in front of his desk. "So, I heard you two are...dating?" He stated.

"Yes sir. Is it okay?" I said stiffening up. He was silent for awhile; then he spoke.

"Yes. I think it might help with missions and such. It is better than you two fighting." He replied. I smiled and relaxed my body. "Just don't get too...lovey dovey. I'm not sure these walls are soundproof." He chuckled, both of us blushing. "You may go now." He said.

We left his office and went into the kitchen. We spotted Jill and Candypop and sat next to them.

"Hey sis. What's up?" Jack said.

"Hey lovebirds~ how's it going?" She chirped with a small smile.

"Good, Slender approves of us." I smiled.

"And I'm gonna be the best third-wheel there ever was." Candy stated, putting his arms around both our shoulders.

"You better not interrupt our dates." Jack mumbled.

"I'm not promising anything. We can still hang out as friends, right?" Candy asked.

"Duh. We know you have no friends anyways." I answered, grinning.

"Well I'm bored. Wanna go hang out or something?" He asked.

"Yeah sure." I agreed. Today was a decent day. I was glad that everyone accepted us. I was curious what the future held for us as a couple. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
