Jason The Toymaker POV

It was 3:00. We walked for what seemed like 30 minutes, until we came across a movie theater. I looked at what movies it was playing and...oh no. Jack gasped and ran towards the theater. "J-Jack wait!" I yelled and ran after him. I guess he saw the movie IT was playing (I know that it was made in 2017 but whatever). "Please can we go see it?" He asked, trying to contain his excitement. "No. That's final." I said coldly and turned around and started walking back. Jack grabbed my arm. "No. We're watching this movie. All day we've been doing whatever YOU want! Now it's my turn to decide what we do." Jack said in an angry tone. "And what, are you scared of clowns~?" Jack teased. "Fine. Let's watch this damn movie." I growled. I gripped Jack's arm tightly and we walked inside the theater.

Jason and I purchased two tickets to the movie. It was supposed to start in...5 minutes! I took Jason's arm and ran to the room where the movie was playing. "Jack! What are you doing?!"Jason yelled. When we got there, we found our seats and the movie started. "Damn, I wish we could've gotten popcorn..." I whispered to Jason. "I'll get some!" Jason whispered happily. He started to get up but I pulled him back down. "Never mind." I smirked and whispered. We watched the movie in silence until the creepy part came. Jason held on to my arm and put his head on my shoulder and whimpered (adorable-). I felt my face heat up. Thank god it was dark. 'Is Jason afraid of clowns?' I wondered. He basically did that for the entire movie and kept whimpering. When the movie was over, we walked out of the theater and I burst into laughter. "YOU'RE SCARED OF CLOWNS?!" I teased. "SH-SHUT UP!!" Jason yelled but I kept laughing. He turned his head away from me until I stopped laughing. He grabbed onto my hand and we started walking away from the theater. We walked and talked until we heard some music. We looked at each other and ran towards the sound. I gasped at what I saw. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!"Jason yelled. It was a carnival. I dragged Jason to the entrance and we went inside.

I whined. Out of all the places we could've gone to, it HAD to be a carnival. "Come on, this is gonna be fun!" Jack said cheerfully. I groaned. The first thing we did was see the show in the circus. Jack cheered and clapped but I just sat there in my seat, crossing my arms with an 'ugh, I don't want to be here face.' After that, we went to that hall of mirrors. Jack and I tried to stay together, but we got split up. I panicked while Jack just laughed. "Come and catch me Jason~!" Jack yelled, tauntingly. I got mad and tried, but each time I almost caught him, I bumped into a mirror. Each time I did that it made me madder and Jack just laughed harder. We got out of the Hall of Mirrors and I punched Jack in the arm, hard. "Ow! What was that for?!" Jack asked rather loudly, rubbing the spot where I punched him. "Hmph.." I pouted and turned my head the other way. We got some cotton candy and jelly beans at one of the stands. After that, we went to play some carnival games.

Laughing Jack POV

Jason and I wandered all over the carnival, looking for a game to play. Jason saw a Ring Toss stand and we headed over there. "I'm really good at this!" I said confidently. 5 minutes later, I was raging. "WHA- HOW THE HELL DID I NOT GET THAT ONE?!?!" I yelled loudly. Jason chuckled. "Let me try." He said, and the person gave him a set of rings. Jason threw every single one, and they all landed around a pole. I gaped in amazement. "Looks like you've won a prize!" The person said. "Pick which one you want!" Jason chose a vintage-looking, rainbow colored teddy bear. We played a few more games, and Jason won all of them. By 9:00 pm, we were holding a bunch of vintage-looking stuffed animals. It was dark, and the carnival looked amazing. All the colorful lights were on, and the sound of music and laughter filled our ears. "How are you so good at carnival games?" I asked in awe. "I haven't the slightest idea!" Jason said triumphantly. He stopped and pointed something. I looked at what he was pointing at. The Ferris Wheel. "I want to ride that." Jason said softly. I smiled. "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" I grabbed his hand and we ran to the Ferris Wheel.

We waited for about 10 minutes, and then it was our turn. We got on and the wheel started moving. It went up, and up, and up. But very slowly. I sighed and put my head on Jack's shoulder. We sat in silence for a few minutes, until the Ferris Wheel reached it's top point and stopped. I looked over the carnival. "Wow...it's beautiful..." I said softly in awe. "Yeah...it really is..." Jack softly replied. We sat in silence for the rest of the ride. After it was over, we walked out of the carnival. We started walking back to my workshop. "Today was fun." Jack said as he put his arms around his head. "Yes, it was." I agreed. "Well, at least the second half of the day was." I replied. Jason chuckled softly. "Thank you for today, Jack. It was amazing. I had a lot of fun with you." Jason said softly, and smiled at me. He smiled. I looked into his honey-colored eyes, and then back at his smile. I turned my head away from him and blushed. My face was really hot. "Are you okay, Jack?" Jason asked. "Y-yeah I'm fine." I replied, and smiled at him. He held out his hand expecting me to shake it. "Friends?" He asked hopefully. I smiled happily and shook his hand. "Friends."
