Several days later after learning the truth of the Potters betrayal, Harry and Rachelle wandered into the DADA classroom, going up the stairs that linked Remus' office to the classroom. "Hello Harry, Elle." Remus said before Harry even had the chance to knock.
The man pointed to the map laid out on the table. "I saw you coming." He said, pointing to it in explanation. He pointed his wand at a little wooden storage unit and it folded itself up, neatly stowing away his belongings.
Harry was staring unabashed at Remus, causing the man to smile at him. "I've looked worse, believe me."The two wandered in. "You've been sacked." Harry said. "No, no." Remus started, but Rachelle interrupted. "You resigned. You're leaving." Remus nodded.
"Resigned? Why?"
"Well, it seems that somebody let slip the nature of my condition." Said the Lupin man, clearly implying the somebody to be Professor Snape. "This time tomorrow, the owls will start arriving and parents will not want a umm... Well, someone like me teaching their children."
"But Dumbledore—"
"Dumbledore has already risked enough on my behalf. Besides, people like me are... Well, let's just say I'm used to it by now."
"Permission to hex Snape for getting the one good DADA Professor to leave?" Rachelle asked. Remus gave her a stern look, but a smile played on his lips. "Permission denied."
"Damn it."
Remus ignored her flicked his wand at a luggage, causing his belongings to fly into it and promptly shut and latch closed. Harry watched it sadly, as if it would be the last time he ever saw Remus Lupin. His expression didn't go unnoticed by Remus, who shifted his weight.
"Why do you look so miserable, Harry?"
"None of it made any difference. Sirius isn't free."
"Didn't make a difference? Harry, it made all the difference in the world. You helped uncover the truth. You saved an innocent man from a terrible fate. It made a great deal of difference."
Rachelle gave them both a pointed look. "And Pettigrew is still trapped in a jar thanks to yours truly, and we will make him admit the truth. Just not yet."
Harry gave her a smile. "Thanks, Elle."
"No problem."Remus picked up his suitcase from the desk with a grunt and walked over to his luggage, placing his wand down."If I am proud of anything, it is of how much you have learned this year. Now, since I am no longer your teacher, I feel no guilt whatsoever in giving this back to you." Harry beamed up at him as Remus handed him the Marauders Map. "So I'll say goodbye now, Harry. I feel sure we'll meet again sometime."
Harry nodded, clenching his jaw. "Until then," Remus continued, "mischief managed."With another flick of his wand the Map folded up on
itself and the ink faded out of sight. Remus sent the duo one last smile. "I'll see you at home, Elle."And he left, Harry and Rachelle watching him leave the classroom for the very last time.

Neville and Seamus had ambushed Harry when the boy and Rachelle had walked into the Great Hall.
"Where'd you get it from, Harry!" Neville asked.
"Can I have a go, Harry? After you, of course." Seamus exclaimed excitedly, his Irish accent coming out strongly."What are you talking about?" Asked the confused boy. Rachelle pushed past Seamus and towards Ron who was waiting for Harry. She caught a glimpse of the brown wooden handle and neatly trimmed twigs, gasping. "That's the latest model, isn't it?" She asked, turning to Ron, who nodded as Harry approached them.
"Quiet!" Ron hushed both excited boys, and looking to Harry with a grin. "Let the man through. I didn't mean to open it, Harry. It was badly wrapped," Ron stammered when he realized he opened Harry's gift. "They made me do it!" He said, pointing to Fred and George.
"Did not!" chimed both twins defiantly in unison.
Harry ignored them and pulled the brown wrapping paper off the object, revealing a new broom.
The Firebolt sat there in its glory, with its glossy handle and shiny silver accents.
"It's a Firebolt."
"It's the fastest broom in the world."
More indistinguishable whispers floated through the air as Harry reached out to touch his new possession. "For me?" The boy said in shock. "But who sent it?"Ron laughed, "No one knows."
"This came with it." Hermione beamed up at Harry from her seat at the bench, holding up a huge grey feather the size of Rachelle's arm. The four students exchanged looks, all of them knowing exactly who sent the broom.•••
The huge doors of the castle opened, Harry leading the herd of Gryffindor students as he sprinted out to the field where he could test out his new broom.
"Show us what you can do!"
"We're bound to win the Quidditch Cup!"
"Go on, Harry!"
"Yeah, let's see!"
"How fast is it, Harry?"The group ran past Malfoy, Pansy, Crabbe and Goyle, the four looking confusedly at the hoard of excited Gryffindors. Rachelle stuck out her tongue at him. "Guess your Nimbus 2001 is no match for Harry's new Firebolt." She bragged, unable to keep her words to herself.
Harry mounted the broom, the students gathering around him. Rachelle even spotted Percy Weasley watching with a grin.
The broom shot off without warning, the sudden action eliciting a shout from the boy on it and gasps from the surrounding students. The clamoring students on the ground could only watch as Harry was sent flying into the air, getting smaller and smaller as he traveled further and further.
