"Rachelle has arrived!" Rachelle announced
playfully as she barged into the room that Hermione, Harry and Ron were gathered.

"I suggest you don't go downstairs. Percys prefect badge went missing and he's on a murderous rampage. Ron, he thinks you took it and ordered me to ask you about it." She said while hugging Ron.

"I didn't take it! The git." Ron said indignantly.

"I knew you didn't but Percy seemed about to murder me if I didn't agree to interrogate you." Rachelle soothed, putting air quotes on the word interrogate.

"HE DIDN'T TAKE YOUR BADGE PERCE." Rachelle bellowed as she opened the door to shout down the hall.

"So. What did I miss?"

"YOU BLEW UP YOUR AUNT MARGE?! Harry, that's—"
"Horrible!" Hermione interrupted.
"Actually, I was gonna say brilliant! Your becoming a bad boy Harry. I like it!" Rachelle patted Harry on the shoulder.

Hermione glared at Rachelle for encouraging Harry. "Let's go for dinner!" Ron exclaimed wildly, standing up.

"So, how are we getting to Kings Cross?" Rachelle asked while stabbing a piece of chicken.
"The ministry's lending us cars." Answered Mr Weasley.
"Why?" Percy asked.
"It's because of you, Perce." Answered one of the twins that Rachelle didn't bother to learn the name of.
"Yeah, there'll be little flags on the top, with HB on them—"
"For Humongous bighead."

Everyone except Mrs Weasley and Percy snorted into their meal.

"I'm done. I should write to my dad. See ya." Rachelle said as she stood up and walked to her room. "Hey Vix! I see you have a reply from dad." Rachelle greeted her owl and it hooted in reply, holding up its foot for Rachelle to remove the letter.

Rachelle,
I have a surprise for you, you'll see it tomorrow! Hope your having fun with your friends, I'll be at the station tomorrow to see you. Remember to thank the Weasleys for taking care of you.
Love,
Dad

Rachelle scribbled down a reply and sent it off just as Mrs Weasley came to her room. "Have you finished packing yet dearie? The cars are fetching us early in the morning there won't be time to pack tomorrow." She said.

"Oh I haven't unpacked much since I came. I suggest you check on Ron and Harry though, we all know they haven't packed yet." Rachelle said, glancing around the room. Only her sketchbook and stationary as well as some clothes were out of her trunk. Picking up her sketchbook she began to finish a drawing.

"Hey Elle."
"Hey." Rachelle answered, her pencil flying across the page as she shaded in some details. "Whatcha drawing?"

"... a fox..."
"Can I see?"
"... I'm not done with it yet." Rachelle pursed her lips and Hermione could tell that this was the end of that topic.

"So, are you excited for Hogwarts?" Hermione said at a wild attempt to break the rising tension between the two friends.

"When have I not?" Rachelle said, her face screwed up in concentration. Hermione sighed and left the room. Rachelle bit her lip. Was hiding this secret worth getting her friends upset?

Glancing down at her drawing she ran her fingers over it.

First of July 1979. Her mother had been pregnant with her. For safety reasons due to the war Rose had placed a disillusionment charm on her belly so no one would guess that she was with a child.

The fox was just something Rachelle added in. Remus had told Rachelle that her mother's patronus was a fox. It seemed fitting.

Clasping her sketchbook shut she tucked her stuff into the bottom of her trunk and went to the bathroom to get ready for bed.

Rachelle heard the door open and close and she knew that Hermione had came back to their room.

"Good night Mione." Rachelle said as she burrowed under the blankets. "Night." Hermione replied with a small smile.
