Everyone was running around, and it was manic. It was so surreal. This was actually happening. Voldemort is coming with an army. People are going to die. It's a battle. None of us wants this to happen, but it's happening.

"Y/N" Fred yells, pushing his way through the sea of people to get to me. I sigh as I see his face. He was what I needed right now. I needed him to hold me. Pulling me into his arms, he sighs. "This is happening, isn't it? '' I asked him. He nods. "It is love" he pulls back and takes my cheeks in his hands. "And we are going to get through this. Just remember all we are going to do, okay. I need you alive so we can have that family we have always wanted". I chuckle. "Yeah, 7-8 kids running around the house out in the country just like your family" I look in his eyes. He brings his lips to mine and I wrap my arms around him and hold him close. This will remind me of what I am fighting for. Pulling back, we rest our heads on each other as he traces my engagement and wedding ring with his finger. "Meeting you is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Once this is over I promise we are going to have the life that we planned okay" he says kissing me one more time before turning to George who is standing looking at us.

"It's time Freddie," he tells us. Fred looks at me one more time, kissing my lips again.

"I love you" he tells me.

"I love you to" a cry escapes my lips. "Don't die, okay" I pleaded.

"I promise we will meet back here" he promises. I nod and let him go to George and they leave.

I hated this. I hated killing. I know that they are bad but they are still people. It shouldn't be like this. People shouldnt have to die because of this.

Blasting another spell at a death eater, I turn and look at Ginny. "Come on let's go" she yells at me and we run back to safety. After reaching the doors to the hall I sigh in relief as I put my hands on my knees and bend forward controlling my breathing. Lifting my head up I can see George standing there with tears in his eyes. "George," I asked, confused, running to him as quickly as I could.

"What's wrong, who's hurt?" I question. He shakes his head at me.

"It's Fred," he chokes. "He's gone Y/N i'm so sorry" he cries. My heart stops. I mean he has to be lying. Fred promised that nothing was going to happen to him.

"George, come on. He's fine. I mean he is going to meet me here and everything is going to be fine ''I say. He shakes his head and takes my arms into his hands.

"He's dead Y/N. He's gone. He isn't going to be meeting us here" he softly tells me. I look into his eyes and can see that he is telling the truth. I gasp as tears breach the edges of my eyes.

"No you're lying. He's fine ''I cry, pushing past him. I walk into the hall and find the group of gingers at the front of the hall. Picking up my pace I reach them and can see them all crying.

"Y/N" Bill says, he and Fleur give me a sorry look. Pushing past them I reach the front and see him lying there. He was so still, peaceful even though he was covered in dirt. He was still the most beautiful man I had ever seen.

Molly puts her arms out to me. "Y/N" she chokes. I shake my head at her and walk over to Fred. Kneeling down I take his hand into mine and run my finger over his wedding ring. "Honey, it's time to stop this okay. This isn't the time to joke Freddie. Time to end the prank Fred ''I say, shaking his shoulder. He stays the same. Still.

"Y/N" Ron cries behind me. Panic rises in me and I shake Fred again.

"Freddie come on please. Wake up. This is just a joke. A sick joke ''I cry. I lean forward placing my hands on both cheeks.

"Come on baby. Wake up ''I plead. I feel hands on my shoulders as my heart shatters.

"He's gone. He's gone" George repeats over and over again taking me into his arms. I gasp, my whole body shaking as realization hits me. I cry into George's shirt. This was real. He was gone. He wasn't coming back.

"No no no no" I cried. This was the day that I died.
