I was looking around the dark cave we were in. I sensed someone was looking at me I looked over to Fenris and he was staring at me I tilted my head in confusion he must have snapped out of whatever it was and looked back to Hawke. Well, that was weird I thought to myself. We had to find another way around and we offered to find a shop keeps son who wandered off. "He's properly dead," Fenris said coldly "he might still be alive and if he's not we will just bring the body so he can morn knowing or at least bring something off his" Hawke said "Speaking of the dead we got company" an arcane horror came around the corner with darkspawn following I shot as many smaller ones I could as Fenris attacked the arcane horror Merril as well Hawke and Varic were also killing off the smaller darkspawn I killed all I could I started aiming for the arcane and I hit it once in the head it seemed to sense me and came directly for me I kept hitting it Merril got in front of me hitting it hard and Fenris started to glow blue as he killed it, it died not a foot from me. "Are you ok?" Merril asked while putting her small cold hands on my shoulder" Yeah that's just the first time I've seen one of those" smiled at her and looked at Fenris "How did you do that?" he looked at me and pointed at the blue markings covering his skin making it glow a lovely pale blue "that doesn't answer the question but ill guess he doesn't want to talk about it." I mumbled to myself as I caught up with the rest of the group we continued down the dark cave fighting occasionally along the way I felt like something was wrong but I can't pinpoint what or where. We ended up fighting a dragon and its babies we were now so bad I thought I would have had to use my magic just to save us but Merril beat me to it tho it was with blood magic Fenris was not very happy about that but never said anything to her. I can tell based on how he looks Merril he doesn't seem fond of magic, to say the least, but based on the way he acts he's from Terventer and he's an elf so I can piece together the pieces about where he came from. I won't pry though I'm sure he doesn't want to talk about it. We continued until we found Sandal he had killed so many darkspawn and ever an oger something we struggled to take down not even a few minutes ago! We all stared in shock until he turned around and just handed Hawke a frost ruin and walked off back the way we came. "What the fuck just happened," Hawke said while holding the frost ruin "Let's never speak about this" Fenris said with a shake in his voice "Agreed," I said shaker than I meant to. We continued without anything else said except that during small battles here in there of dragonlings and darkspawn we finally got to where we needed to be and set up camp as the rest of the crew came down. We didn't even get a few minutes to rest bodhran who is Varrics brother told us to go and explore to find anything valuable. We left almost as soon as they got back. We continued and face some shades I've always faced these bloody things so nothing new there for me, as we continued this terrible feeling in my stomach grew stronger. I fell a little and had to stop, "hey eldren you ok?" Hawke asked running over "I'm fine Hawke just there is something here whatever it is it's bad I said with a trembling weak sounding voice. This thing is affecting me and I don't know why. "I can feel it to Hawke," Fenris said as he helped me up. I clung to him for a moment then I stood up fully. I took a deep breath to calm my racing heart and thoughts. We continued with even more caution we came to a big door it felt special Hawke opened it and an evil feeling so strong it almost knocked me back. No one else seemed to even notice so I just speed up and followed behind Fenris. Hawke walked up to a flight of stairs leading to a concrete pillar almost I looked around at all the dwarven ruins surrounding the area I slowly walked up the steps and when I made it up the stairs Bertrand came and took the idol before Hawke could touch it he held it for a moment before looking at me with an almost dead look like he just died and become a slave to that idol seeming made of lyrum but it was red. He was saying something to Hawke and walked down the stairs we made our way down but he closed the door on us. Varric was screaming at his brother for a few minutes we just let him. Hawke went to private talk to him while we waited for him to calm down even just a little. "Are you ok?" Fenris asked catching me off guard "mm oh yeah I'm fine just a lot going on today I suppose, how about you?" I asked calmly "Fine" was the only response I got "I'm guessing you were a slave based on how you look at Merril." I stated out loud he looked at me shocked but it disappeared as fast as it came. "You're observant I see" "Have to be in an alienage, especially in Kirkwall," I said with distaste "I am a runaway slave Hawke helped me I am returning the debt." he said in his normal cold tone. "Oh ok well if something happens or you need a place to stay you're welcome to join me in my hut of a home by the alienage," I said as inviting as possible while watching Varric and Hawke talk "You don't live in the alienage? He asked curiously "oh no I live by the blooming rose since I work there but I do have a home there I go to often on my days off or for an escape," he stared at me as I talked "you work at the blooming rose," he said with a hint of disgust "yes but I'm, not an entertainer I'm a bodyguard and sometimes barkeep and I don't have to live in the alienage since I'm friends with most of the guards" I explained while never taking my eyes off of Hawke and Varric "oh I see," he said coldly once again. "Let's go," Hawke said as we walked out the door on the other side of the room. We followed Hawke to another door leading to a long narrow hall was pure silence. As we entered the hall a stone golem raised along with about 8 shades. "Bloody hell are you fucking kidding me" Hawke yelled as he attacked the golem, Merril attacked the shades as they came for me and Fenris did his best to protect us and attack the golem with Hawke Varric attacked the golem until it fell pretty fast and so did the shades but more came we handled them rather easily. After we catch our breath we move on into a room with 2 stairwells down in a large room as we enter more shades we kill them with ease again since most of us were on top of the stairs just hitting them. Once we walk down the stairs we get ambushed by these rock ghost creatures of some kind Merril tries to hit them with electricity but it did nothing so it was more Hawke and Fenris who killed them since our arrows didn't do much even from Bianca. After we finished the last one. "You fight well and have good aim good work kid," Varric said with his sass "Oh thank you I practiced a lot in the alliance and if they get too close I know how to use daggers." I stated very proudly of myself. "Your full of surprises huh spot" "Spot?" I asked "Yeah your aim is always on the spot or point, ill come up with something better later most likely" he explained with a smile "Do you always give out strange nicknames?" I asked "Yup everyone gets one," Hawke said with a grin "Hush chuckles," Varric said as he laughed. We walked farther into the ruins, we walked into a large empty room with pillars around the walking path straight to a door this felt like a trap or something I think we all noticed we walked father into the open room or what I think is a room at least. As we walked a few more steps into the room, more of those rock creatures came out. I was so focused on one of the ones in front of us and the one attacking Hawke I didn't notice one behind me, I heard Fenris and Varric yell for me to watch out as I felt its sold rocky body hit me and slice my rib just a bit not deeply but enough for me to bleed it came closer to me and I pulled out my special dagger with beautiful golden dragons carved into the blade and more so in the hilt, I sliced it in its opening where its red like spirit stayed and it was hard enough to kill it a shade came close to me and I stabbed it as many times as I could before it fell, it was the last one too. "Holy shit are you ok?" Hawke came over running looking at the wound "Oh yeah I'm fine it's just a scratch," I said as I stood back up "Here I can heal that for you," Merrill said as she stepped forward almost touching me with her magic "no" I almost screamed "no I'm fine I can take care of it myself don't worry," I said with a smile trying to seem convincing "a-are you sure?" she asked with a hint of sadness "yes I'm sure Merill" I said as I walked away to loot a what was left of a spirit I numbed the wound with a bit of magic, I took a deep breath feeling much better I took a bandage I had. "Hay Hawke, can you help me bandage this?" I asked "Oh yeah you sure you don't mind?" he asked concerned "Oh yeah it's fine just try not to look much" I joked with him making him laugh "Sure sure" he bandaged me up and we continued our way, but not without me noticing fenris' intense gaze on me. after a while, we didn't make it very much further down.
