The level five Imperial trainees stood at attention.
"The past several weeks you have all done well. You will graduate within the week.. You are dismissed to lunch," Imperial Commander Cario Eran said.
The trainees relaxed their posture slightly and removed their helmets. The Mandalorians - mixed in with a few humans and aliens - headed to the lunch room. Sierra Wren was among that group of Mandalorians. She paused and looked back at the Commander.
"Be right there," Sierra said to her friends.
Most of them shrugged and left except two newer cadets that waited for her.
She quickly walked up to the Commander and cleared her throat. "Commander Eran?"
He turned to her and frowned. "Hello, Sierra.. Aren't you going to lunch?"
"Yes, but I wanted to ask you some questions first."
He sighed. "Sierra, what did I tell you about asking questions?"
"But, sir-"
"No buts. Go eat lunch, Cadet Wren."
She sighed, defeated. "Yes, sir.."
She walked out and was surprised to see that the newer cadets were waiting. "Oh.. Hi, guys."
"Hey, Sierea.. You okay?" the girl said.
"I guess.. I wish they would just answer my questions. I want to know that I'm doing right.. That I'm on the good side."
"Trust me.. You aren't," the boy muttered.
"Aren't you a little old to be cadets?" Sierra said, a little suspicious..
"No.. Aren't you a little young?" the girl said.
"No."
"Listen, Sierra.. We need to talk. Follow me."
Curiousity taking over, Sierra followed the two cadets into a room without security cameras.
The girl lowered her voice. "I'm Skylar Star and this is Kanaan Jarrus.. Sierra, we need your help."
