Kokichi arrived at Shuichi's house with his warm coat worn and looked around before using Shuichi's house keys he found in Shuichi's coat to enter. The door unlocked and he immediately went in before closing the door. He got hit by the warmth in the house, although he was pretty sure he was outside in the cold for too long and that's how it came to.
He took off Shuichi's warm coat and placed it on the chair in the dining room plus he sat down on the sofa. He looked around, trying to find something to cure his boredom, and as expected, he didn't. He groaned as he turned to lay down on the sofa.
"I wonder what Shuichi has in his room..." he wondered aloud and before he was about to get up to go check, he heard a tinkle. He looked at the sound and saw a glass fall to the floor. It didn't shatter, luckily.
"Hey, bish."
Kokichi nearly fell off the sofa by the sudden voice before realizing. "You again?"
"Me again. I'm just here to watch you." the voice responded.
"That's creepy of you to do."
"Hum. You're a bit boring." They yawned.
"Says you."
"Fvck your remarks."
"Fvck your presence and you watching me like a stalker!" Kokichi said, giving the voice a middle finger even though he doesn't know where the voice was.
"Fair."
The house was full of silence before Kokichi was the next to break it. "How long have you stalked me?"
The voice dramatically gasped, clearly showing they were offended. "You think I stalked you?! I teleported to you just as you plopped on your detective's sofa!" They huffed in annoyance. "God, you go be a pancake for all I care!"
Kokichi rolled his eyes, not even noticing what the voice did in that sentence, and sat up. "I was about to check up on something but then you had to butt in!"
'Mainly because I don't want you checking in Shuichi's room,' the voice thought. "I didn't know you were about to... check up on something."
"Yeah, I refuse to believe that. You came here BEFORE I said I was about to check up on that." Kokichi scoffed. "You know what I'm about to do."
The voice stayed silent.
"I'm right, aren't I? And besides, your tone -when you said that- was hesitant."
"... so what about that? Not like I can do anything about it anyways!"
"I'm a liar too, you know!" Kokichi snarked. "I detect that it was a lie!"
"Fvck!" the voice exclaimed. "All I can say is do not enter the detective's room. Trust me, he has confidential stuff. Especially if you're the famous Phantom Thief."
"What's wrong about entering my beloved detective's room?"
"Miu's usual," the voice lied, not regretting what they said. Kokichi rolled his eyes and was about to head up when the door to the house slammed open. He flinched and screamed for a good 3 seconds.
"What the fvck!" he hissed at the person who entered the house, out of breath.
"O-oh, sorry, Ouma-kun!" Shuichi apologized as he placed two objects on the table. "I was with my..."
'...that guy was my new friend I met.' He then remembered what Rantaro said and was hesitant on the last word. "...friends." He looked down before realizing. "What were you doing, by the way?"
"I'm just heading to the bathroom!" Kokichi replied with a smile. A fake smile, even Shuichi can detect it. Yet he let it roll without being aware of the thief's actions. "Alright, go ahead."
Kokichi turned around and headed upstairs, and once he was out of Shuichi's sight, he continued onward to Shuichi's room.
"And what have I said about going to Shuichi's room?" The voice suddenly spoke out, scaring Kokichi in the process. "What the fuck!" He hissed as he reached for the doorknob.
"I'm serious about this," The voice said, irritated that Kokichi was disobeying their commands. "He knows you're up to no good, and that's the truth."
"So why'd he let me go then?" The short male shot back. The voice went silent. "Because he trusts you," they said, trying to put a calm tone in their words. "You're the Phantom Thief and yet he trusts you even if you're up to no good."
"He shouldn't trust strangers like me~"
"Then what about the whole entire 'Shuichi gave you his coat' situation?" The voice fired back. "Also, reconsider going in his room, please." Kokichi stood in the spot completely frozen. Not even a minute later he flushed bright red.
"Woah, what's up with you?" The voice said before letting out a startling gasp. "Awwww so our little thief is soooo interested in his beloved detective that he started being embarras-"
"Shut up-!" Kokichi growled when he heard footsteps. He snapped out of his daze and turned to find Shuichi staring at him. "And what were you going to do just now?"
"Visiting your room~!" Kokichi grinned as he opened his room door. "Wow~!"
"T-There isn't anything interesting in my room-" Shuichi was cut off as Kokichi ran inside and landed body-front onto the detective's bed. "Mm, cozy."
"S-so what are you g-gonna do now?" Shuichi sputtered as he held out two bottles. He placed the water bottle by the table and offered the Panta to Kokichi, being oblivious since Kokichi was face-planted on his bed. Shuichi realized this and puts it next to his water bottle before sitting down on his chair by the desk.
"Mm... I want to fvck."
Shuichi immediately choked on air. "W-WHAT?" He sputtered out as his face began steaming. His face flushed red as Maki's eyes when she's about ready to choke someone.
"Nishishi! It was a lie!" Kokichi grinned before narrowing his eyes. "Though I do think Saihara-Chan got some kinky moves prepared-" Kokichi was cut off by the flushing Shuichi.
"If I have that Panta you love, would you please stop saying stuff like that!?"
"Well I'll consider it if you actually do have Panta!"
Shuichi grinned as he pointed his head to the direction where the drinks he bought are. Kokichi's eyes brightened up as he took the Panta from the table and opened it up, releasing a fizzing sound.
"Consider it as a one time gift," Shuichi said as he amazingly watched Kokichi drink it. He nodded. "You shouldn't have given a liar a gift~ and here you are, giving me the most treasured item in my life- PANTA!" He put the can on the table where he got it and stood up.
Before Shuichi knew it, Kokichi gave him a hug. A hug! Shuichi's face turned red as he hesitantly hugged the short male back. "Thanks..." Kokichi mumbled.
He didn't know why he had to hug Shuichi all because of a simple grape soda, but the masculine urge to do it seem to have won. And he liked it. The warm feeling of Shuichi's body makes him want to be in his arms forever.
Sometimes, that wish can't be forever.
