"So now can you tell me?" Kokichi asked as he raised a brow. He had asked that every minute during the ride and Rantaro was trying to come up with a story to describe the situation. Afterward, he gave up trying and started speaking while his eyes are on the road.

"Do you know the detective that always chases you?"

"I mean, duh. He'd been chasing me for not too long. Why?"

"That's what this is about. Detective Saihara. Your group members had this fear in their faces, no?"

Kokichi thought back to when he saw Pigtails's eyes. It was filled with fear. "Yes... why do you ask? Did something happen?"

Rantaro went silent. "When was the last time you saw him?"

"In the museum standing." Kokichi decided not to mention the hug part, as it made his cheeks turn pink. "About a couple minutes after the alarm blared."

"You have been friends with the enemy of yours. Honestly, I kinda knew that before we raided your old hideout," Rantaro said as they arrived at a building.

"Honestly, it isn't much of a big deal when he forgot some memories all because of 'him hitting something hard. I thought he was joking but as the days pass, he became a bit... bold at times and kinda stutters. He's acting like his past self."

"So what is Saihara-chan like before?" Kokichi asked.

"Average."

"That did not help, Rantaro."

"So? Surprise surprise."

Kokichi looked at him in confusion before the car was parked in the shadows next to a random tall building that blocked out the moon, making the car nearly unseen since Rantaro's car is black.

He looked around outside the car window before they both got out of the vehicle. Rantaro took the katana out of the case and locked the car before approaching around the front door.

Kokichi followed him and they entered the door. It was unusual, how the person in the warehouse doesn't lock the front door.

"Stalking is my thing, Avocado!"

"You stalk?"

"You-are-a-fucking-dumbass-If-you-didn't-know-shit duh."

"Ha. Anyways, the enemy isn't here yet, but they should be arriving soon." He kneed down to the ground, gesturing Kokichi to do the same. Kokichi grimaced but does it anyways.

"Did you see anyone else during your heist?" Rantaro asked quietly. Kokichi made a thinking sound before he had a thought. "There were guards, but there is also a person hiding in the shadows that wasn't Saihara-Chan."

"The person you might've saw in the museum that time must've been the culprit that captured Detective Saihara..." Rantaro mumbled. Kokichi snapped his head at the police officer in shock.

"Ex-squeeze me, but you mean that the person I saw at the museum took my beloved detective away?!" Kokichi spat out as he nearly fell in his spot. "And my organization is actually concerned for him?!"

"Well, they were actually more concerned about you but whatever. Now shush." Rantaro clamped his friend's mouth shut as another vehicle pulled up. The driver in a black cloak got out of the vehicle, -which was a van- and Kokichi could tell it was the same person in the museum by only one glance.

The driver shut the driver door shut before heading to the back of the van, opening the doors. They climbed in and a moment later they appeared back out but with another person hung over their shoulder, their wrists being tied up by rope, unconscious.
