Alrighty. So that means two chapter uploads for each month! If I'm lucky, maybe 3! I am currently a bit busy with school and it's already the second day of second quarter, so I might be 'procrastinating' on the story!

Meanwhile, Shuichi sighed in defeat as he returned home. He attempted to catch the Phantom Thief that was caught stealing in broad daylight, but you always know that you can't catch this guy first try.
The night before, however, Shuichi didn't even try catching the Phantom Thief.
He decided that he should deceive his enemy by making the thief think he was a 'useless detective.' The hard part? Possibly when the thief is in his citizen form.
Knowing Kokichi's intelligence is 99.9% for sure more accurate than his, he can probably sniff out what the detective is up to. Shuichi didn't want that, and yet, he allowed him to.
All he can do right now was wanting to collapse on the bed and sleep, but as he opened the door to his room, he let out a shriek.
Speaking of the devil.
"Oh! Hey Shumai!" Kokichi greeted. He could be seen sitting on the bed, legs crossed, with his back pressing on the wall. He was holding a book, and Shuichi could see that he must've been reading. "I'm glad you came home!"
"Nee-hee-hee." Shuichi mumbled in a 'not caring' tone as he went over to the bed, not even caring about Kokichi in his house, and collapsed onto it.
Kokichi looked at the detective in confusion. "Nee-hee-hee?"
"Sounds familiar, doesn't it," Shuichi responded with a tired tone.
Kokichi went silent before speaking again. "Anyways, what's the beef?"
"What."
"You must've been tired over something~!" Kokichi poked on Shuichi's cheek as he let out a smile. Shuichi looked at his smile and slightly grinned before he turned his head away. "I am just exhausted. No need to worry."
Kokichi sat up and got off the bed to put the book he was reading away. "You can just tell me! I won't tell anybody if it's something secretive!"
"Why would I tell you my secrets?"
"It's just between you and me! Nishishi!"
Shuichi closed his eyes. "Nope... zzzzz..."
"Shumai~!! Don't sleep now! I wanna know what's troubling you!"
After numerous attempts to wake Shuichi up, he gave up and left the room.
As he closed the door behind him, Shuichi opened his eyes slightly to check if Kokichi had left the room for sure. After confirming he was, he sat up from his bed and sighed in relief.
Suddenly a cold breeze entered his room and Shuichi shivered before glancing at the source. The window. And it was open.
So that's how Kokichi got in, huh, Shuichi thought as he closed the window, locking it. He closed the blinds and drowsily went over to his laptop. As he opened it up, he saw another letter. The same purple envelope with checkered insides.
He opened the letter and read through it. After reading it, he scrunched his forehead in confusion before rereading it multiple times.
"He wants to meet, obviously, but where, really..." He glanced up at his laptop and turned it on. He did research based on the clues he has seen for now, and 10 minutes later, he finally got a location.
