XX - Last Farewell

The whole place was filled with flowers and people. As Yoon Hee looked around her, she couldn't help but cry and bury her face in her husband's face.

I really can't believe all of these things are happening.

Yoon Chul, although tearing up himself, rubbed his wife's back to calm her down and cry with her silently.

Never in his wildest dreams that this day would come very soon. It has been such a long and tough ride, especially for Rona who suffered a lot from the very day Seokhoon broke up with her when she found out that she was suffering from leukemia, and by the time she fought and battled against her sickness for the last time.

While still thinking about what his daughter had to go through, Yoon Chul couldn't help but tear up even more. Rona was still so young to suffer and be in so much pain but he was somehow glad that Rona has finally broken free from the chains of her sickness that held her captive for years. No more tears, no more pain, and no more suffering for her. He knows that Rona is now happy.

Damtae, along with his wife Suryeon, walked towards Rona's parents while linking each other's arms. Suryeon gave the an emotional gaze and went towards Yoon Hee to give her a sisterly hug.

Don't cry anymore, Yoon Hee-yah. Rona is going to be okay.

Yoon Hee looked at Suryeon and cried even more.

My little princess....... I really cannot believe that all of these are actually happening. I mean it all happened sooner than we imagined it to happen. I really couldn't help but become a very emotional.

Suryeon hugged Yoon Hee tighter and despite crying herself, Suryeon rubbed her back and comforted her.

It's okay, Yoon Hee-yah. Don't cry anymore. Instead of being sad, shouldn't we all be happy for her now that she's finally free from all of her sufferings and is now happy?

As Dantae stared at the scene in front of him, he couldn't help but roll his eyes and smile at the two dramatic women comforting each other.

Clearing his throat to catch the attention of both Suryeon and Yoon Hee, Dantae began to speak.

Suryeon's right, Yoon Hee-yah. You should be happy because today is Rona and Seokhoon's much-awaited wedding day.

Yoon Hee pouted a little at Suryeon and looked at Dantae and replied to him

You would know the feeling if Seokkyung and her boyfriend gets married one day. Rona is my only princess and I really couldn't stop myself from getting emotional thinking about how tough and draining the circumstances Rona went through in the past. She's such a tough girl for making it this far.

Yes. Rona has officially overcame her battle with leukemia and has been declared cancer free for five years already. She was so grateful to the Doctor who took care of her and gave her the therapy treatment she needed to overcome the toughest battle of her life. With the help of the people who loved her and cared for her, she was able to conquer her biggest enemy which was her sickness five years ago.

Rona was thankful that she agreed to undergo the treatment Seokhoon have offered to her.

She was thankful that she was given another chance in life.

She was thankful that she was given another chance in love.

If it wasn't for her loved ones, she will never have the power to endure every suffering and pain she went through.
