Johan's love

Johan was sitting on the table worried about Rose. Why would she leave like that without saying a word to anyone. How did she even go back?
He remembered her face while she walked out of the hall. She seemed frustrated and sad. She even had tears on her eyes.

Johan was sitting outside and drinking a bottle of whiskey.
Johan dialled Rose and put the call on speaker. He didn't expect her to take the call but she did.
"Hello! Johan?" Rose said.
Johan took the phone in his hand and asked
"So When did you leave today?"
"Oh! I had an urgent meeting to attend so I had to-"
"So you do lie!" Said Johan.
Rose didn't say a word back.
"I saw your face when you left the hall"
"Johan! I got a call from my husband and he said he wanted a divorce-"
"Oh my god! Wow! Rose, let me speak frankly. You can't freaking lie!! Come up with something more reliable when you lie!!"
Rose hung up the phone hearing that.
Johan drank another glass of whisky.
He started his car and headed to Rose's house. He honked many times in front of her gate. He was so drunk.
Rose saw Johan's car and opened the gate. Johan rushed his car inside and got out.
As he saw Rose he yelled "You are such bad liar. Getting divorced by husband. What kind of bullshit was that . Do you expect me to believe that. How can someone have a husband with even marrying."
"Johan. I can explain. There are people around. Come inside. Please!" Rose spoke quietly.
"No! I didn't come here to sleep with you Rose. I came here to know if you were hurt but you seem fine. I came here because I love you! " Johan said this and left taking his car.

Johan woke up and didn't know what he did last night . He parked his car in the shed and slept inside the car. He wokeup in the morning hearing the alarm set on his phone and remembered everything. That felt embarassing. He thought of not going to office that day because he couldn't face Rose but if he didn't go that would make things even worse. He decided to go and face the circumstances ahead.
He reached office and saw Bowie siting on a desk.
"Good morning bro!" He said.
"Bro, I have a problem " Johan said and he explained everything that happened yesterday.
"Holy shit!" Bowie shouted.
"Why did you go to her house for that?"
"I don't know. I was so drunk last night"
"So, technically you proposed Rose yesterday. Am I right? " Bowie asked.
"I am not sure-"
"No! I don't want your answer Johan. You love her and you proposed her now it's upto her." Bowie concluded.
"Who proposed whom?" Peter came running enquiring about the matter.
"Shit" said Johan.
"He, no, I mean Tom proposed a rat named Jerry! He was gay! Now Come on bro let me show you my new painting" Bowie took Peter away with him saying something.
Stella came running to Johan.
"So you proposed her? Oh my god. Seems like I lost my 50 dollars."
"Stella, you don't understand. I don't want your money!!" Johan said and walked away from her.
"Wait! What!" She said and followed him.
Rose didn't come to office that day. Nancy was so happy because she hadn't completed the work yet. But Johan was upset because he knew that he was the reason for her absence.
Johan went to Rose's home from work. She wasn't home. So he called her.
"Hello! Rose. Are you home?"
"No. I'm out"
"Can we meet today? If you are free"
"Yeah sure. When?"
"Let's meet at the coffee shop near the office today at 7 pm"
"Okay. I'll be there"
Both of them had things to share each other.
It was embarrassing for Johan to make that call but he felt that it was better to make an understanding than never.

It was almost 7 pm and was raining so heavily outside. He saw Rose walking in holding a red umbrella and she was wearing a red gown. She looked like a princess.
Rose came in and sat on the chair opposite to Johan.
They palced their order but they didn't speak a thing. So Johan decided to speak first.
"I am so sorry about yesterday night Rose! I didn't have to react that much yesterday. I shouldn't have come to your house so drunk and late. I didn't mean to do that or hurt you. It was all due to alcohol. I couldn't suppress my emotions yesterday."
Rose shook her head and said
"I was the one who lied to you! I should have said you the truth "
Both of them seemed to have wrong on their sides.
"I can't dance or drink at any party. It reminds me of something I really want to let go. But it doesn't seem like I can do that. Some memories never fade. They haunt us until the very end." Rose explained.
"I didn't think that way"
"And how were you supposed to know. I should have told you the truth." Rose sighed.
They finished their drink and came out.
"How are you going home?" Asked Johan because he couldn't see Rose's car parked there.
"I'll take a taxi home!" Rose said.
"I'll drop you home! Come!" Said Johan and left to take his car.
He was so happy to see Rose at the coffee shop. He didn't expect her to come or even answer his call. He did something so wrong but she decided to forgive him.
"So will you fogive me and come to office tomorrow?" Asked Johan.
Rose laughed and said "Yes I can forgive you but that was not the reason for my absence today. It was my collegemate Benny's marriage today. I took a day off so that I could join them there."
"Oh! " Johan said. He seemed a bit embarassed.
Johan stopped the car near Rose's house and she got out from the car to see Natalia standing in front of her house.
"Omo! Natalia!" Rose screamed in joy.
"Rose!!" Screamed Natalia and hugged Rose.
They were jumping and hugging each other.
Johan got out of the car to see what's going on.
"How have you been? Do you eat well. You look tired!" Natalia patted Rose's head and said.
"You got a boyfriend. You should have told me!" Said Natalia while she saw Johan.
"No! No! He is my staff. His name is Johan. Johan this is my aunt Natalia." Said Rose.
"Nice to meet you" said Johan and they shook their hands .
"Oh my god look at him! I thought he might be an actor. How handsome! Do wanna try acting?" Natalia said looking at Johan.
"No! I can't act!" Johan said smiling.
"You should give it a try! I know a director who was looking for a handsome new male lead. I can recommend you if you-".
"Johan! Bye! Go home now!" Said Rose while she pushed Natalia towards her house.
"Why? You guys look so good together. Positions doesn't matter in love. Heart is all that matters. I don't want you to stay single forever like me Rose! He seems such a nice guy." Natalia was speaking out loud.
Johan heard her speaking about him and he got in his car pretending to not hear her and drove away.

"You could have informed me earlier" Rose said to Natalia while she grabbed a wine and 2 wine glasses from the Shelf.
"I planned a surprise visit but I got surprised. You weren't home."
"Aah Johan wanted to meet me at the coffee shop." Rose replied to Natalia.
"What's up with you guys?"
Rose sat down near her and poured the wine to the glass.
"He wanted to clear his part to me!"
"What part?" Asked Natalia.
Rose explained everything that happened to Natalia.
"So he came yelling to your house at night because you lied to him."
"Yes! I was shocked at first too! But he was so drunk. It might be alcohol that made him do that." Rose said and sipped the wine again.
"Let me make this clear. He has fallen so hard for you Rose" Natalia remarked.
"What! No! He is my staff and all my staffs absolutely hate me" rose said and smiled and took an other sip of wine.
"I am serious Rose! I have seen many of these before. These kind of love. Alcohol can bring out true feelings that are dug deep inside your mind!" Natalia said and passed out there on the table.
Rose poured an other drink. She kept rewinding that night when Johan came to her house. She remembered him saying 'because I love you'.
"Omo.. no this isn't it!" Rose said shocked. "Natalia is that true?" Rose asked Natalia, But Natalia was sleeping.
"How do I even not understand it"

Next day Rose went to the office. She saw Stella and Bowie looking at her sitting on their tables. She didn't say anything and opened her office which was locked and entered. She locked the door from inside as soon as she entered.
They looked at each other wondering what happened to her. She usually used to scold them about any pending projects or new projects they had to work on.
Rose kept her hand on her chest and sighed as she locked the door and turned to find Johan just an inch behind her.
She got startled seeing him and went pale.
"Are you alright?" Asked Johan who was holding a flower wase in his hand.
"What are you doing in my office??" Rose shouted.
"I came to change the Old flowers and keep new ones there!" Replied Johan.
"I can do it myself too." Rose said angrily and snatched the flower wase from his hand.
"You can go out now!" She said.
"I want the key to the door" Johan said.
"I can open the door for you!" Rose said showing her Attitude and came forward to open the door.
But she slipped on the water that fell from the flower wase when she snatched it from Johan's hands.
Rose screamed in panic. She expected to fall down and hit the ground but Johan caught her in his arms.
Rose didn't open her eyes for few minutes.
"You alright?" Rose heard Johan's voice and she opened her eyes to see Johan looking at her holding her in his arms. She looked at him for a second and stood up straight.
"Yes!" Said Rose. She was blushing so hard.
She opened the door and Johan got out. She then closed the door and locked it.
Johan was blushing too.
Johan saw all the employees staring at him. He went to his place and started working without saying anything.

Rose couldn't bring her heartbeat down even after he left. She sat on the chair. Her face was as red as a tomato.
She definitely didn't have feelings for him but she was blushing. Maybe because of what Natalia said Rose guessed.

It was lunch time and Johan saw Bowie coming near him.
"Did you kiss her bro? WTF did you do in there?"
"I didn't do anything. She stepped on water and I helped -" Johan stopped speaking as he saw Rose walking out of her office.
"I'm leaving home! Bowie finish the work that I gave you yesterday as soon as possible." She said looking at Bowie and left.
Stella came near Johan and Bowie holding 50 dollars in her hands.
"You deserve it!" She kept the money on Johan's table and walked past him.
"But I didn't -"
Bowie patted him on his shoulder saying "yes. you win!"
Then he left out with Stella.
