Rose's Love Story 💞

New feeling

The morning bell rang and the classes began as usual but Rose felt a change in the situation. Pinky didn't came near Rose to bully her anymore nor was she late. She didn't feel bored at school anymore. She didn't worry about Noah or getting embarrassed in public. She was feeling so safe with Adrian by her side. She didn't know what kind of feeling was that but when he smiled she smiled too.
He sat beside her so they talked a lot and became thick friends. She felt happiness at school for the first time after many years. The last time she felt happy in school was the day the had cake festival at school 5 years back where the cake she recommended received the first position.
During interval Rose talked with Anna but she also cared for Adrian and soon Adrian became friend with Anna too. He was so good for the group.
Things were so good at home too. Whenever Rose felt sad she visited upstairs and talked with Adrian. Whenever Adrian made something special he use to bring it for Rose because he knew that Rose was a foodie.

She heard some girls at school talking about proposing to Adrian. Ofcourse he was so handsome and was nice to everyone. He was so smart and was good at everything. One day the class love bird Katy came to Rose asking for a help.
"Hey Rose. I know that you are Adrian's best friend can you give this to Adrian. please" Katy said while she gave a letter to Rose.
"Oh! A love letter! No I'm sorry Katy but he has a girlfriend" Rose lied.
"I know that but still!" Katy replied.
"No it's not gonna work Katy. I'm sorry"
Katy left with the letter hearing that.
But Rose kept thinking about the thing that when she said Katy Adrian had a girlfriend she replied with 'yes I know that'. So do he have a girlfriend? Rose was confused and guessed that it might be Katy who is wrong. If he had a girlfriend Rose would have known it by now since she is his one and only best friend.
She thought about it a lot and decided to ask him about it. They talked openly about all matters so why not?.
The school bell rang and the three of them, Adrian, Rose and Anna were walking home. They sent Anna off waving and started heading home and Rose decided to ask Adrian about the matter.
"Hey Adrian! Do you have a girlfriend?"
Rose asked. It was not that easy as she thought it would be. She felt nervous as she asked the question and he stopped walking and turned to her.
" Yes ! " He replied.
Rose was shocked as she heard that and felt heart broken.
She was staring at Adrian's eyes.
Adrian continued "yes I have a 'girl-friend' " he laughed.
Rose was confused and she didn't get his joke.
"You don't get it"
"NO!" Replied Rose.
"I mean I don't have a girlfriend but I have a friend who is a girl. That's you Rose"
Adrian smiled and started walking to home but Rose stood there still thinking of what he meant and then she ran to Adrian.
"Adrian wait - " she hit a rock before she could finish and lost her balance. She closed her eyes hoping that she would fall down but she didn't. She felt an arm grabbing her in that chaos. It was Adrian's arms. He grabbed her and pulled her towards him. Rose opened her eyes to see Adrian holding her in his arms and she hoped he would ask her if she was okay but he did something that she never expected. He said "I love you Rose".
Rose didn't know what to say in that chaos but she did have feelings for him. Rose didn't move and was looking Adrian at his eyes and she saw him leaning forward. She closed her eyes. Her heartbeats began dropping as she felt his lips touching her's. His lips were so cold and it was the best feeling ever. It was her first kiss.
They both felt shy and embarrassed to walk back together after what happened. Both were blushing so hard.
She rushed home and locked the door as she reached home and Adrian felt shy and hurried upstairs.

Next-day Rose was in a rush to the garden because she was late. She locked the door and came out to see Adrian waiting for her outside. She was so happy to see him waiting for her. He walked with her to the garden and helped her get the flowers and water the plants.
"Rose, do you like me? Answer honestly." Asked Adrian
"Yes!" Rose replied making an exclamation.
He hugged her so tightly hearing that and he started crying. Rose patted him on his head saying "you are still a child. haha"
Then they went school together holding hands.
