Rose's Love Story 💞

Episode 9

Rose went to office as usual on Monday.
She saw Peter, Nancy and Stella was at the office.
"Good morning !" They said.
"Oh yes! God morning all." Rose said and entered her office, humming a song.
Rose was looking happy today. She usually used to put on an angry face while she entered the office and scolded her staffs for something.
"She has changed a lot!" Nancy said to Stella.
"Yeah! I didn't think it would work!" Stella sighed.
"What would work?" Nancy asked curiously.
"Nothing!" Stella said and turned her chair.
Peter stood up and leaned towards Nancy. Nancy also turned her chair and got startled seeing Peter.
"Peter! " She yelled as she got scared.
"What?" Peter replied and got back to his seat.
Bowie and Johan came in talking and laughing.
"Bro! Still could have won!" Said Bowie.
"Yeah! Lucky for them!" Johan replied.
"What are you guys talkin about ?" Asked Stella as she heard them.
"Yesterday's baseball match. It was awesome." Johan replied.
"You went for a match without me?" Peter started yelling.
"Ooh Shit!" Johan said and turned the other way as he saw Peter.
"No! We saw it on TV. I went to Johan's house and we had popcorn-" Bowie said and went towards Peter's table.
Bowie always handled Peter with his fake Stories.

"I didn't bring my car today. Can you please drop me on the way?" Stella asked Bowie as they were leaving.
"Okay. Johan's coming with me today anyways. Let's grab some coffee and leave together. What you say?"
Johan who was looking at Rose leaving said "yes! yes! Ofcourse I'm coming" and ran outside following Rose.

"Rose! Wait!" Johan called her from back.
Rose stopped as she heard him calling and turned back.
"I have something to say to you!" Johan said. He was looking serious. Rose knew what he was upto say.
"Look Johan I'm your boss. You should call me ma'am and not by my name. I always wanted to warn you about that. I never want to hear you calling me 'Rose' again."
Rose said and walked outside the office building.
Bowie and Stella came towards Johan. They heard everything. Bowie patted him and said "it's okay bro! Don't worry!"

"Till Yesterday she had no problem with me calling her by her name and now she acting like a boss to me." Johan yelled. They were at the coffee shop drinking coffee.
"But she is your boss" Stella said and Bowie hit her with his arm indicating her not to say anything now.
"How can she do this. She even slept a day in my house - "
""Wait! What?" Stella said as she heard that.
"You slept with her. Oh my god!" Stella said and jumping up from her chair.
"Stella, sit there. It's not like that." Bowie started explaining.
"You knew the plan too. Seems like I am the dumb one here!" Stella said and sat down again.

Rose felt like she was a bit harsh on him. She wanted to call him but she also didn't.
Rose didn't call him. She read a book and drank some wine. Aunt Natalia was leaving back to her house so she went to drop her at the bus station.
"I'll call you when I get there!" Natalia said as she got in the bus. Rose waved her hands and started her car.
Rose was feeling down as she didn't have any food since noon and she was dizzy because of the wine she had. She took the car to the wrong side and she was dozing in the car. She suddenly opened her eyes to see a car coming opposite her and she turned the steering as fast as she could to the other direction.
She hit the car board and passed out in the car.
When she woke up she was at the hospital.
She saw a nurse standing beside her.
She woke up from the bed and sat straight.
"A man brought you here saying you had an accident and he told me to give this key to you!" Nurse said as she handed the key to Rose. It was her car key.
"The bill was already paid! You can finish the trip and leave!" The nurse said.
"Thank you" said Rose.
She went back home after the trip. She had no idea who reached her to the hospital.
She took her cellphone and checked the call log. She saw a call from Natalia but it wasn't a missed call. It was a recieved call.
She called her back.
"Hello! Rose you up?" Natalia asked.
"What do you mean?" Rose asked confused.
"Johan said you were so drunk and was sleeping when I called you before."
Rose understood that Johan was the one who saved her and he was the one who took the phone and spoke with Natalia.
"Oh! I didn't knew that" Rose replied back. She didn't want Natalia to worry about what happened so she lied.
"Okay! Did you eat?" Natalia asked.
"Yes! And you did you reach home?" Rose asked.
They continued their conversation.

Next day Rose went to the office. Everybody were at the office.
Rose saw everybody looking at her as she entered, except Johan. "Good morning!" They said.
Rose greeted them back but Johan was reading a file and didn't even turn back to look at her.
"Johan! Come to my office now! I have to speak with you!" Rose said and got in her office.
"Ok madam Rose!" Johan replied and followed her.
All the others looked at each other giving a confused look.
As Johan entered her office Rose took a file in her hand and said
"Sit down!"
"No I'll stand here ma'am" Johan replied mockingly.
"Okay. That's up to you. I decided not to speak to you like this ever again but I really wanted to thank you for your help"
"It's okay. I'm your slave!" Johan replied.
"Johan! Why do you keep saying that?" Rose yelled.
"You were the one who wanted me to see you as my boss. You were the one who ordered me to become your slave." Johan shouted back at her.
"I was about to propose you that day, there, but you don't care about others feelings. You just hold a ton of ego on your mind. I know I'm not as rich as you but I can love you more than anything else. Rose!" Johan said and walked out of  Rose's office. He took his bag from his table and left the office.
"Johan, you leaving?" Bowie asked him but he didn't reply.
Rose got frustrated and threw the file on her table. She slammed her head on the table.
But then she heard footsteps approaching her and she rose her head back up.
It was Johan. He kissed her on her lips and before she could even react. The only thing she could do was to close her eyes. She never expected Johan to do that. She saw him going outside the office just then.
Everybody in the office stared at them. Nancy kept her hand covering her mouth as she saw them kissing.
"I love you!!" Johan said to Rose smiling and he went back to the hall.
Rose couldn't process the thing that just happened.
The office door slamed back to position as he left out.
Rose came back to her senses.
Everybody looked Johan but he was putting cool moves and walking back to his table.

It was time for them to leave the work and Rose came out of her office to see Johan waiting for her outside at the hall.
She got inside again.
She made up her mind and decided to face him anyway and reject him right away and opened the door but it seemed like he left already.
Rose left out her breath and came out to see Johan standing near to the door crossing his arms. He was standing there leaning to the wall.
She didn't move and looked him in his eyes. All the others had left the office by then.
Rose saw Johan coming near to her but she didn't move. He closed his eyes and was leaning towards her for a kiss. Rose slapped him on his face seeing that and ran outside.
Johan felt shameful for doing that. He had the wrong at his side now.
He ran behind her and caught her hand.
"Rose! let me -" Johan said but Rose slapped him again and got in a taxi.
Johan stood there on the road as he saw many people who were standing on the street looking at him. He felt embarassed and he went back to his car.

He tried calling Rose but she didn't pick. She even switched off her cellphone. Johan was driving and he turned his car to Rose's house as she didn't pick his calls.
Rose was home. He saw her getting in. He rang the doorbell but she didn't open the door. He knocked the door and said "Rose I couldn't resist myself! I said you I can't hold it in anymore! I am sorry Rose! I shouldn't have done that." Johan said loudly so that Rose could hear him from inside.
He waited for sometime and she didn't seem to open the door so he decided to go back. He turned back and started to walk back, but then he heard the sound of the door unlocking.
Rose ran out crying and hugged Johan.
He was surprised and he hugged her back.
