Akanksha closed the cabin door behind her softly and leaned against the wall to stop her shaking legs from collapsing. She had not expected Arna's friend to come crashing down on them like a tornado. Truth be told, it had completely escaped her mind to inform the college and her parents. She agreed it had been a major blunder on her part, but it was not that big an issue to have that guy creating a scene in the hospital.

She felt her head reeling, but a firm grip on her forearm stopped her from crashing down on the floor. She could feel herself being led towards the chair a few feet away. It felt good to take the weight off her shaking legs. A cup of ice-cold water was held in front of her. Touched, she looked up to see a concerned Rajveer hovering in front of her.

"Raj!"

"Are you okay?"

"I think I lost it for a bit over there."

"That you did. I was honestly worried for a bit over there. I thought you would fall down."

"You came running?"

"Well, yes. That I did."

She laughed and finished the water in a single gulp. Then leaned her head back against the wall and closed her eyes. He patted her head comfortingly and she could feel him take the seat beside her.

"I think you need to go home."

"What?" Her eyes flew open in shock and she looked at him wide-eyed. Rajveer was dead serious as he looked at her unwaveringly.

"You heard what I said."

"No, I can't leave Bhai Saheb here without any supervision. What if something happens to him again?"

"Akanksha, you know nothing will happen, right? Bhai Saheb is under strict surveillance. And even I am here."

"But if that man could walk in here, so could others."

"That is another reason why I want you to go back home, freshen up, take some rest and then come here in the evening. By that time Bhai sahib would be a bit better and you can finally talk to him to your heart's content."

"I beg your pardon?"

Rajveer closed his eyes for a minute. He had honestly wanted to avoid this conversation when Akanksha was this tired but it seemed that fate was not in his favour. He had to give this girl a reality check because he knew nobody else in this family would do it.

"Akanksha, have you paid any attention to your behaviour with Shubham this afternoon?"

"I wasn't wrong Raj, I was worried about Bhai Saheb's safety."

"You were absolutely right in worrying about Bhai Saheb's safety, but you were extremely rude considering the way you talked to him."

"I beg to differ, Raj..."

"Hear me out, Princess. He was worried about his friend as any sensible person would be. Also, it was remiss of us to not inform her college and her family. Shubham was very right in his anger. And you were wrong in trying to subdue him with your attitude. Akanksha, you should learn that India no longer revolves around its royalty. Mind your manners with people, Akanksha."

He waited for his words to sink in. When he noticed that she went quiet and kept staring at her hands, he continued softly, "I know you are worried about your brother but that doesn't excuse the way you talked to him. Maybe it stems from your tiredness and worries, but do remember that it doesn't give you a reason to misbehave with them. Go home, freshen up and take a rest. And when you came back, make sure to apologize to Mr. Sharma. In the meantime, I will be with Bhai Saheb."
