London. 1890.

In the one road called Baker Street, there was not only a great mouse detective named Basil.

The big gray mouse named Ratigan.

He was all dressed in his dark blue dapper outfit. His matching cravat to go with.

You may be amazed what Ratigan does in his own busy days.

He tinkers around with his creative inventions. Ratigan crafts his collection of materials with his tools. He makes them on his working bench.

Ratigan builds so much things.

The little bot that has knives as hands. The slicer that can dice vegetables and fruits itself.

The little robot that has whisks as hands. A mixer.

The little living machine that has tenderers as hands. A meat beater.

Basically whatever he designs, every mechanical fellas has different kinds of hands.

A familiar light brown mouse appeared in his detective clothes (without the hat).

Both of them are like friendly neighbors.

Basil: Ah. Still inventing your contraptions and gadgets for your amusement, Ratigan?

He laughs himself a little.

They faced at each other. Confidently.

Ratigan: The inventor's work will always amuse every mouse to their liking.

Basil: The only question is...Will they like your miniature hunk of walking pieces of metals?

Ratigan: My miniature hunk of walking pieces of metals will be the future's new generation.

Basil: They're going to have mixed feelings about you. I mean, have you seen your work of craftsmanships recently? These little robots are the same except their hands.

Ratigan: It's just an easy way for everyone to do the things for them for a change. And I will not rest until I see get their satisfaction to such everyday lifestyles.

Basil: Be as it may. They are servants and maids in London here. Not everybody would be tired of their daily routines.

Ratigan: True. But my inventions are going to change the world. Starting from here.

Basil: Ambitious as usual, huh Ratigan?

He smiles at him.

Ratigan: I will never get bored of it, Basil.

Sometimes they shared ideas to few matters over hobbies.

Every time they played chess, Basil was the one who beats him.

It was a test of knowledge.
