Chapter 7 - Welcome Jisung

Jisung pov:

It had come time to change dorms. I had packed all my stuff and was ready to go. The rest of my current doormats had just been enjoying their early time off since they would be staying. I walked out of my room and into the living room to say goodbye to them.

"So, I'm headed out. I'll see you around" I said and Chan went to hug me goodbye. IN followed and hugged me too.

"See you man," Hyunjin said from the couch and waved. I think it's safe to say he won't be the thing I'll miss the most. But mabey not living together will be able to make our friendship better.

As I stepped out the door I saw a familiar face. Minho was walking with Seungmin towards me. I stopped and asked

"Hey, what are you doing here?". Minho looked slightly confused before answering "I'm just walking Seungmin to his new dorm. I can presume you're going to my dorm now. Two minutes, I'll take you there". I nodded in response. Minho led Seungmin to the door, said bye, and returned to me.

"Let's go bestie" he said and gave me a little push. The walk was only a couple of minutes, so it went by fast. When we got there Minho searched in his pocket for the key. He opened the door and suggested I enter first. So he does have some manners, I'm fairly impressed.

"Thanks" I said as I entered. Felix and Changbin were standing by the door.

"Hi! We made you brownies!" Felix said happily while Changbin tried smiling. Minho gave him a little side push and he widen his smile.

"Wow. ehm, thank you" I said. I was genuinely thankful, I was not expecting them to be so welcoming. I felt something on my back. Minho was trying to help me take off my jacket. Was there something in the air here that made everyone fluffy sweet?

"We'll show you around now if that's good with you" Changbin said, still smiling wide.

"Sure" I said and we all started making our way to the living room.

"So this is the living room. This is where we chill, snack, binge, and everything in between" Felix explained and went on to the next room.

"This is the kitchen. It is small but useful. Feel free to use any of the stuff in the cubers" Changbin said and then looked at Minho who nodded in approval. They showed me the bathroom as well and then we went to the rooms.

"There are two rooms. Changbin and I are roomed now, so it'll just stay that way. This is our room" Felix pointed to a small room with a bunk bed and one cupboard.

"And this is your room. Or well, Minho and your room" he said and pointed to the room. It was built the same as the other room. Living with Minho in such a small space will be... interesting. I really hope he is not too much of a morning person. Felix and Changbin left, leavning Minho and I alone.

"I had the bottom bunk before, but you can choose which one you want" he said and leaned against the door.

"I can take the top bunk, it's okay" I said and put down my bag. I opened the bag and started unpacking. Minho was just standing there looking at me.

"Mabey we should make some rules" he then said and sat down on the bottom bunk.

"Good idea" I answered, really meaning it. It would make living with him easier.

"I like to wake up early and take my shower in the morning, I assume that won't be a problem?" he asked.

"Well I like evening showers, so we can properly make that work" I answered and Minho hummed.

"Okay, I like to go to bed at a reasonable time, so I hope you can respect that and not be noisy. Also, I have trouble sleeping with lights, so no phones, computers, or anything when I sleep" he said looking at me to make sure I was listing carefully.

"I quite like looking at my phone in the nighttime, but let's see tonight how everything works" I said and he looked a bit unsatisfied.

"Sure, I'll leave you to unpack" he said, stood up, and left. Finally. Tonight will be a nightmare. As I was almost done unpacking, I heard someone talking outside the door.

"How did we do? Did we follow your instructions well enough?" Changbin asked.

"Yeah, I think you did fine. It seems like he feels welcome. Thank you for your work. Goodnight" Minho answered and opened the door to our room.

"Hey, let's go to sleep" he said and dragged me to the bathroom to brush our teeth. Did he set Changbin and Felix up to be nice to me haha
